Thanks to another reviewer who said how to gauge when these are close enough together/ far enough apart, this is working well. However, I'm docking one star because it only came with one thumb screw. Thankfully, I only needed to replace one of these on my flag, so it may be a non-issue. MADE IN USA!!! 🇺🇸

The majority of flags, especially those that aren't the domestic stars and stripes, have grommet mounting. My flagpole is a a sleeve mount. I don't know a lot about such things but I ordered a Valley Forge adapter kit for about two bucks when I ordered a state flag to replace the U.S. one that had been hanging outside my home. It's plastic but it's the swival type so the flag doesn't wrap around itself. I actually like the plastic over the more expensive metal ball bearing type because it is totally silent and virtually nothing for the weather to mess up. Plus those cost far more than they're worth. YES NO MAYBE Valley Forge is a company that knows flags so I trust they would know how to make a mounting ring. They do. One hint though is you have to get the spacing between the top and bottom one just right and there's no resource to teach you how. If it's too taut the flag won't spin, nor with it flap properly. Too loose and the flag droops and looks puny. If you are mounting your flag on an angled pole on the front of your house, which is one of the most popular ways to hang it, first start by guessing the distance based on what I said above then from time to time loosen just the bottom one and move it a little up or down until you watch the flag rotate naturally in the wind. There's no good way to simulate it, the best way is just watch whatever way the wind blows and adjust it up or down a few times, it won't be long before it spins just right.

In case you don't know what furled means, this is when your flag wraps around itself and looks pitiful. These flagpole rings are absolutely great! For one, they're made out of plastic and will not rust or corrode ever. They have a thumb screw and I do mean a thumb screw that you can turn to tighten or loosen the device from the flagpole without using any tools. As these photos show, even in high winds the rings will spin around the flag pole post and the flag will not fural. I highly recommend this product if you have trouble keeping your flag flying straight out.

I had purchased 1 similar of less quality 2 days b4 $5.99, I seen this 1 advertised for $3.99 better quality. Im no math whiz but thats a huge savings. Thank u Amazon for giving us choices of great products at affordable prices.

This is the second set of flag rings we have bought. They last a few months on our boat and then usually the top piece cracks. It is only flown when we are out, when we are not using our boat the flag is put away and not in the sun. So it doesnt take much sun and wind to break down the plastic parts. We get about 6 months of every other weekend use. Well worth it to fly our patriotic flag on our extended wooden pole. These mounting rings keep the flag flying straight and the flag does not get wrapped around the pole. It flies free and proud.

These worked ok. Towards the end of the summer they didn’t rotate as easily. Would go for the metal version the next time. Quick delivery.

This is the second set I own. The first set I received with a flag and pole as a gift. So when putting up another flag I purchased this set. They help keep the flag from getting all wrapped up with the pole. Good for wood or metal poles.

Finally arrived today, easy to mount them to the pole and they seem to be working quite well, we are having shifting winds here today and the flag is travelling as you would expect

I can hold the flag pole and twist it and the rings work just fine and the flag stays in place. BUT when I let the flag hang all day on a moderately windy day I come back to find it wrapped around the pole. It could be that my flag is too light... Great idea if I could only get it to work.
