OEM Original Japan Yamaha Outboard 692-24410-00 6A0-24410 663 24411 Fuel Pump Assy 25HP - 90HP 2 stroke Outboard motor Engine Boat Sierra 18-7334

I installed the three new low pressure pumps. When I pumped the prime ball to get fuel in the system one of the pumps was leaking. After taking it off to inspect the pump I put it back on the motor to check my work and insure that the fuel lines were sealed. This was not the problem the diaphragm in the pump was leaking! I then went to my local yamaha dealer and purchased a OEM pump. I installed that pump started the motor at the house and everything looked good. fast forward to the next day, I put the boat in the water it started right up as it should. As I was idling away from the boat ramp the motor shut off. I took the cowling of and found that another one of the brand new Sierra pumps was leaking fuel so bad that I could not even prime the fuel system enough to get back to the dock. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this product!!!

I was having problems with my 1999 75 HP Yamaha outboard. For years, it would stall or sputter while running wide open throttle but would work fine at any other time. For years, I thought that happened because water from my depth finder transponder was splashing onto part of my outboard. I finally fixed the splashing issue but the problem persisted. I knew it had to be a fuel delivery issue and replaced the pump. The project only took about 10 minutes to do and the motor works like new. Okay, the project took about 5 years and 10 minutes, but you get the idea!

Pump is not powerful enough for a 90hp 2 stroke. Check valves inside pump are to stiff and do not allow sufficient flow under high rpms. NOT ENOUGH FLOW
