Doesnt look like brand-new, no plastic wrap on the book. Pages weren't sticking confirming this.
The book didn’t come with a plastic wrap and definitely looked like a returned item that had been used for some time. Pages werent sticking straight like those of a brand-new book, which further confirmed it wasn’t fresh from the publisher. The only reason I didn’t return it was because I was too impatient to wait again.

Wrong cover recieved
I received another version of the book, I ordered this expecting to receive the cover in the picture that is advertised but instead, I received the other, old version of the cover and the book looked like it may have been used

Amazing book
I’ve recently finished A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, and I am absolutely captivated by the world she’s created. The blend of fairy tale elements with a unique twist makes this book incredibly engaging from the very first page. I loved how the story started with Feyre, a strong-willed young woman who, after making a dangerous choice, finds herself in the court of a Faerie Lord named Tamlin. The book draws on elements of Beauty and the Beast, but Maas adds so much depth and complexity to the plot that it quickly becomes something entirely its own. The world-building is amazing, and I couldn’t help but get lost in the fey realms, with their political intrigues, magical creatures, and looming threats. The character development is another highlight — Feyre's transformation from a resourceful hunter to someone caught up in a magical world she barely understands was done so well. As the story progresses, she grows into a fierce and brave character, and her relationships with the other characters, particularly Tamlin and the mysterious Rhysand, kept me on the edge of my seat. While the book definitely has elements of romance, it’s more than just a love story — it’s about strength, sacrifice, and survival. The themes of loyalty and betrayal run deep, and there are so many twists and turns that I was constantly hooked. Maas has a way of blending romance, action, and suspense that makes it impossible to put the book down. That said, I will say the romantic elements did catch me off guard in a few spots, and at times I found myself wishing for a bit more focus on the larger plot rather than some of the emotional tension. However, that didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment of the story. The ending left me wanting more, and I couldn’t wait to dive into the next book in the series to see where Feyre’s journey would take her next. Overall, A Court of Thorns and Roses is a fantastic start to a series, and I’m thoroughly excited to see how Maas will continue to expand this complex, magical world. If you love high fantasy with strong characters, thrilling twists, and a touch of romance, I highly recommend this book!
