I managed to do something to the holder which meant that it no longer worked. Other than that, the chalk works well and there's plenty of it in the pack.

Good chalk
Used welders chalk for years, but never in a holder, just lazy i guess! My toolbox is full of bits of chalk. Got holder and it just makes it easier and cleaner. Buy it!

French chalk is great and the holder keeps it from breaking up

Works for 5 minutes - not worth buying
Chalk is held in place by a spring clip. It's not strong enough. The chalk works loose and falls out. You end up with broken bits of chalk (like normal) so not worth buying. It's a cute idea but not well executed
