Literally one of the worst soldering stations I've ever used
Constant Non compliant tip errors at the worst possible time. No temperature control know. Never buying Metcal ever again. Terrible and overpriced products.

Great Soldering Iron, but doesn't include tips!

Good but errors reported quite often
It is the most expensive soldering iron I have ever bought. I got the thermaltronics and it worked great for me for many years. The thermaltronics tips are hard to find and I often bought the wrong one that didn’t fit to my soldering iron. The Metcal is good and they have many different style tips you can order on Amazon. However, this Metcal soldering station often complained about not reading the tip properly so I had to power on and off a few times to reset the soldering station.
