Aluminum card holder, RFID protection against fraud and demagnetization, compact wallet, Smart Case STOCKHOLM model (Carbon Effect, Standard lock)

This purchase is a replacement for an Ogon wallet I have had for over twenty years. It has worked great and I couldn’t give it a higher rating. Sturdy, sleek and easy to use. Keeps my credit cards safe and secure. So glad I was able to find a replacement for the one I dropped.

Very happy with this aluminum card holder and the protection it provides. Nice colors and streamline design. Feels more secure when traveling and just “out-and-about” than carrying credit cards in regular wallet and worrying about important information being stolen.

This is the original Ogon aluminum small wallet. The later versions are the V2 Standard Size and the V2 Large Size. This original version has individual pouches which can fit two cards easily but I prefer one card to a slot so that they don’t rub against one another. There is also room for cash. In the photo, there are six cards, each in its own pouch, and ten USD $1 bills folded into thirds. It closed easily as can be seen in the next photo. The other photos compares the sizes of the three versions of the Ogon wallet and the last photo compares the interior of the original and V2 standard size. There are more pouches in the original. The V2 Large version has a separate compartment where a dozen or more bills of cash can be easily stored. The original version has a plastic latch while the two later versions have aluminum latches. Also, both later versions are watertight while the original isn’t. The latch on the original can be difficult to push. I solved this problem by applying a dab of WD-40 on the inside of the latch and it has been much easier to work since then. I consider any of the three versions superior to the Ridge or other minimalist metal wallets which keep your cards tightly packed together. Over time this will damage the cards and rub off the security code or other info on the back of the cards. The Ogon wallet pouches keep your cards separated from each other and anything that might damage them over time. I have all three Ogon version and use the V2 Large as my everyday carry wallet. The others are backups. I recommend the Ogon aluminum wallets. This one, the original, is getting harder to find but it is still a good buy for the price. The plastic latch is a drawback, and may break if dropped or just wear out over time. The two updated versions will undoubtedly last much longer. But the original can still be a good option for a low priced aluminum wallet that offers RFID protection and excellent storage space.

This was purchased as a birthday gift wallet. I was embarrassed with having given it and will return gift. The value for the expense was just not there even if used only for credit cards. It is difficult to open and only opens after repeated attempts. Once credit cards were placed in container impossible to close. No place really for money to go. Extreme disappointment in the product description vs. what it actually delivers. Do not buy this item. I want my money back. Shame on you Amazon for offering this on your site that I trusted. A long time customer.

Have this for a while - it is relatively sturdy and secures my ID/credit cards. My cards obviously won't bend and crack and organizes effectively. However, the smooth surface can make it easy to slide out of my pant/short pockets if pockets are large. Also, if the width of the holder was another 1 cm wider it could also hold my cash as a single fold not as a double fold. I like to keep my cash together with the cards so I have to double fold my cash in order for it fit and that also takes up more space and can make the holder difficult to close if too many cards and cash are stored in the holder.

This is a quality product. I’ve owned the cheap versions where the card holders tear and they fail to latch. This wallet latches securely and the card holders have held up for over a year. I highly recommend.
