Very nice but no audio out kills it - but you can fix it
Its a very nice gadget Much faster than aaxa P1jr, runs 16 gb sd cards (P1 did only 8gb SDs) and 55 lumens is very good for a almost dark room, something like you really let your living room when watching TV On battery it runs 35 lumens On power (55 lumens) side by side in a dark room with a powerfull LG PA70G 700 lumens led projector (biggest led projector yet), you wont feel much difference (but dont get room lights on or the difference will appear very hard...) The problem is the lack of audio out Thats because the best thing in this gadget is its portability, by far So if you want it portable, you wont be hooking it to your phone with a lot of wires But its speaker sound is very low, so you certainly will not hear absolutely anything in a restaurant, for example (yes, its main use is to entertain your childs while in a restaurant, because in your house you will use a bigger projector, of course) So if aaxa would spend 50 cents more and install a audio out connector, for a portable powered speaker or a headphone, this would be a perfect gadget But the way it is, its like a soundless movie projector in reality, nice if you like movies from Buster Keaton or Oliver Hardy, that dont need to be heard ... In my case, I will open it and install a conector myself, but i know how to do this, and did it in my P1 jr (P1 specs says it have one 3.5mm audio out, but its not true at all) Hope this intervention do not overheat something and burn it, but is the only way to make it usable Pitty, because its a very nice machine Added later: I finaly opened it and installed one audio out connector Its not much difficult to do If you want, there is barely space to install one stereo P2 connector inside it, so nobody will realize it have been altered In few words, I did cut one of the speaker wires ond ironed the conector between the cutted wires, so the out speaker or headphone will be in series, not in paralel, which assures you the projector wont burn, becaus you are really lowering the power out (you can even use P2 extra pins to short circuit connector when you unhook speaker out, so internal speaker will stay working when the connector is unhhoked - I did this way on mine) When done, audio is very very loud then in a headphone, very nice ( of course, you can lower audio level in projector's controls) Even with some audio out portable speaker the audio out is very good and loud if you need Last, watching its inside you can realize it is very well made, and uses 2 very compact and powerfull 2 amps lithium batteries Somebody on AAXA put lot of effort in it And best of all, it have HD resolution, and one HDMI in connector, micro size (seems a larger one but its not - but you can buy a adapter cable for U$2 anywhere) Did buy 2 more of those projectors this week and will tweak them also Very nice

fantastic tool
While it doesn't recognize most video files, it works great if you have a laptop with a HDMI or monitor connection. It does not have a tripod mount which is very disappointing but the battery life and picture quality is truly amazing. I will be getting more of these for my work in Africa as it is an amazing teaching tool for community schools without electricity and can be used for power point presentations. I paired it with a Sharkk speaker ($40) and it is fantastic. The sound travels clearly throughout the classroom and the kids love it. The picture will be distorted if you don't create a stand for it but its pretty easy to make with some books and a desk.

Excellent Image Makes Up for a few Issues That I Can Live With...
As a projector that projects a decent image at a decent to very good image, it is excellent. The unit comes with a USB power supply (using a plug adapter from a local bargain store and it works well.) Has included speaker or speakers and they are OK for basic use. I found that if I run this device off my laptop and connect a Bluetooth speaker, I can crank up the sound enough for watching movies. It runs well off battery power, though dimmer. It is OK in very low light with a smaller screen setting/4.3 ratio is OK, 16.9 a tad better but I like both. The included built-in kickstand is. as far I am concerned totally redundant. Not even worth the bother, beats me why they included it. Lack of tripod support is an issue, so I have super-glued a nut to the bottom of the projector (YIKES!) and can now use a tripod... The screen is bright enough in low light but better in near pitch-dark conditions. I paid less than $140 delivered...for that price I can overlook the few failings that I can make do without This would have been much better with a headphone socket or Bluetooth but using the Bluetooth speaker ensures I get the sound I need.... As it is, I actually like it a lot. for a tiny unit like this it is much better than previous projectors I have owned. It is highly highly portable.and a bargain for the price. It loses one star for the few less than significant failings...a very nice projector for people like me want a very compact portable projector with a decent image!

Unit is reasonably bright and colors are good.
Product worked well for some tasks but unfortunately would not be recognized as a display with my tablet using HDMI. It did work with other HDMI inputs, but not my tablet. Tablet and cords worked with another projector so definitely something incompatible. The other drawback was the lack of a tripod interface on the bottom of the unit which complicates placement. Unit is reasonably bright and colors are good.

Works great for what it is and its definitely worth it
Works great for what it is and its definitely worth it! Don't expect top notch but its amazingly decent and compact with multiple inputs making it the best in its price range.

Good at first, ultimately a piece of junk as its price suggests
This projector blew me away with its unexpected and incredibly clear, bright picture at first. For the price, I expected something much more crude. Two months later, with only seven or so days of use under its belt, it only turns on sporadically, and shuts off a few seconds later, even when connected to the power supply. As the price suggests, this item is designed to end up in the garbage conveniently around the time when it is no longer permissible for returns under Amazon's policy. Wow then boo. Unless you only need it for a minute, don't buy.

These are magic little machines. We used a couple in a theatre project and they performed at least as well as we could have hoped for. Everywhere we used them, people asked about them and couldn't believe the price.

Off the top, I haven't used this projector for anything aside from presentations, so this review will only cover that aspect (not movie-watching or live streaming). This is a good mini-projector for presentations. The projector itself is pocket-sized and really light. When it's in use, it's very quiet (i.e. no humming or loud-running fans) and doesn't seem to heat up too much (I've only run for about an hour at a time). With the numerous attachments (computer and HDMI TV input), there are a wide range of uses. The picture itself, based on the computer output, is pretty clear once fine-tuned with the focus dial. On the down side, the projector itself doesn't emit a very bright light. Hence, to see the projection clearly, you'll have to dim the lights significantly. Next, the adapter power cord is relatively short (maybe a metre in length, but that may be a stretch). Due to the power cord's short length, having an extension cord handy to use is a good idea. The attached stand to adjust its height is a bit too short as well, so you may have to place something underneath the projector to elevate the image. Finally, this projector requires a manual selection of computer input every time it's used. To clarify, whereas other projectors can be attached to a computer and the image displays right away, you have to select the specific output each time before you can project your image. (Hardly a hassle, but worth noting nonetheless.) Overall, I recommend this projector for presentations in dimly-lit or dark rooms that are not too large. As mentioned, it's not perfect, but it does the job I need it to do. UPDATE: About a week after I wrote that review, the projector stopped working. More specifically, the bulb seemingly blew or didn't light anymore. As mentioned, I had only been using it for an hour at a time (4 - 5 days a week) and I had it for about 2.5 weeks prior to the bulb blowing. If you are going to buy this projector, be aware that two reviews now are saying the same thing about this product. Unfortunately, it's buyer beware.
