I started taking Gaia Herbs Ashwagandha Root to help with stress and restless sleep, and I can feel a difference. I’m not as on edge during the day, and I fall asleep a bit easier at night and wake up feeling more rested. The capsules are easy to swallow and don’t upset my stomach. I like that it’s a herbal supplement from a brand I trust. Of course everyone is different, but for me it’s been a gentle, helpful support.

DONT PURCHASE UNLESS YOU HAVE PRE EXISTING CORTISOL/ANXIETY ISSUES I have super bad cortisol spikes, more often than not unfortunately. Within 4 days of taking the supplement I feel much more calm in situations I would usually not be so calm in, don’t take on an empty stomach as it could make you feel uneasy, but this is the only supplement/medication I take at all and so far it’s been working nicely. It takes 4-8 weeks to have effects but if you have super high cortisol/anxiety you could feel the effects sooner as I did.

I've used other adaptogens in the past so familiar with the properties of Ashwaganda. I like that this is a liquid. I've noticed that I've managed stressed better, energy has stabilized, and my sleep has improved. It does take time to build up in your system so keep that in mind if after a couple of weeks it doesn't seem like things have changed. This seems like a quality product and a solid price point. The pills are medium sized so not difficult to swallow. It is really important to talk with your doctor before taking since it can interfere and/or react with certain medications. Everyone's body is different but it has worked well for me.

I’m sure this is a fine product, I have always liked Gaia, but I read that Ashwaganda can hurt your liver. I was hoping to return the unopened product, but it is not allowed. Stuck with it.

I've been trying this for just over a month now.it is taken with other natural supplements and I have noticed a reduction in my anxiety.

I have to say I've only taken this once, but I LOVE how I felt today. I've been struggling with staying asleep at night. A coworker suggested this after explaining my sleeping issues. Sometimes when I wake it could take me almost 2 hours to fall back asleep or I wake up repeatedly and it takes along time to go back to sleep. Today I've felt awake ALL day. I admit I woke up early around 4am, but when I woke up in the middle of the night I was able to go back to sleep immediately. Today was by far the best day as far as energy that I've had in a long time. I will continue to use.
