Encasement Mattress Protector - Completely Surrounds Mattress for Waterproof Protection

Excellent product for bed bugs! I had heard and read of horrible tales of bedbug infestations and how once you get one there is absolutely no relief since the infestation keeps recurring. I bought the king size protector to protect the mattress and ourselves from the blood sucking pests and have not really tested the product for wet spills. After getting the mattress and bed treated professionally I was informed that there is a chance of recurrence. And I would need to vacuum the bed and mattress for 3-6 weeks. I vacuumed once and then covered it with LUCID Encasement mattress protector and I must say I am delighted with the product. I have not seen any physical evidence of bed bugs nor have I experienced any itchy bites. The protector fits well on my mattress and is very comfortable- you don’t feel it at all. We have slept peacefully since our purchase and I am thrilled that I have not had to dispose my bed or mattress. Highly recommend for relief from bedbugs but do get the bedbug treatment first.

-The cover does exactly what it is designed to do but beware, US don't make metric items and they don't fit metric mattresses snugly to say the least.

I bought this when I moved into a new flat and the mattress seemed to have bedbugs. I couldnt find any but they were definitely biting night after night. It was a nuisance until I purchased this encasement and sprayed nontoxic insect repellant (citronella, lemon eucalyptus, mosquito spray) all over the periphery, corners and under the mattress. What a relief! This encasement with the zipper and flap will ensure no critters can crawl out at all. Downside is the price - very very expensive!

My boyfriend and I went to visit his family and they failed to tell us they had bed bugs. We ended up taking the annoying pests home and found our bedroom infested and us scratching like crazy. We keep a clean home and never dealt with bed bugs before. We were unsure of what to do, so we turned to the internet for guidance. We ended up buying some bed bug spray and dousing everything in our room which helped, but there were still bugs. We read that getting the box spring protector and mattress protector can work wonders, but we didn't want to spend a ton of money when we just shelled out over $100 on sprays. We found this one and ordered it since it was such a good price and had good reviews. Upon receiving the item, I was very satisfied with the material. It is very comfortable to sleep on and soft to the touch. This material doesn't make weird noises when you lay on it either. The zipper goes around 3 sides of the protector making it easier to put on the mattress. This fit perfectly on my king size mattress that is 15". I did have to put it on by myself which was a task, but it can be done. I sprayed everything down again before putting this protector on and since that day I've seen no more bed bugs and I haven't scratched once! We took many steps to ensure we got rid of the bugs, but I definitely feel this was one of the most vital! I love the product and recommend it to anyone looking for a great product at a great price! UPDATE: Still love the mattress protector... Even more now! Our puppy had an accident on the bed and we unzipped the protector to make sure it didn't get on the mattress and it didn't! Also, we were able to wipe down the protector with a cloth, soap, and water and the stain came out easily and immediately! It was like wiping off a tablecloth or something! Really great product!!
