Excellent and full of good resources
Overall a very unique and interesting take on Music Technology for the high school classroom. Well written chapters include hip hop, rock n roll, and DJing. Lots of engaging projects. Another reviewer wrote "outdated information" but this is not the case because the chapters provide a history of music technology as well as current information. Don't expect a book on how to operate ProTools or Ableton, but instead expect a guide for beginning students getting their feet wet in the wide world of music technology.

Needs More
The teacher's edition doesn't have the text from the student edition. I really wish that the text was integrated into the book. This is more of an answer key with suggestions to try the activities first. I bought the student edition to see if it better complements the is book.As far as the student edition, it has more of the text and background information I would just suggest getting this version for teachers and students alike. The student edition does have the answer key written in it (which might be counter-productive since the answers follow directly after the questions). The projects sound cool however but I haven't tried them out yet.
