Best Smart Mesh WiFi
This product is just really best Home WiFi mesh product. efficient, smart and reliable.Though before I was skeptical in buying them, as I saw some negative reviews, and the cost was considerably higher.however, I wanted to take chance to evaluate myself, and now I so happy I have done so.Yes, the product App was a bit dodgy at the setup for the first time, and had to reboot, and then use other device, which is strange for linksys, Same App work smooth with Linksys WRT AP I already have. However, once the Velops got the setup done, and place them at the right places, it has given me the best reliable connection on WiFi at home.no Matter how strong the signal is, still I got decent connection, with speedtest results tops the link from the ISP.The app has limited things to present to end-user, from advanced settings, like enable or disable the 5GHz WiFi.but honestly for the first time I didn't as the Velop designed to take care of it, and make reliable connection.comparing with other products that may have much on GUI for End-user, but less reliable and cheap hardware. To summarize I am Network Engineer with 15 years of experience.have been using Linksys WiFi products over the past 7 Years, they are a bit pricy compared with other products, but I have never regretted once the investment that I made.always worth it, peace of mind for me, and family especially with Covid-19 and online schooling....etc

Good product - you need to make channel optimization
Easy to install with Linksys app. Once you catch the main's signal, do the channel optimization on your app. This clearly solves a lot of connection issues.

Very Effective
I bought a pack of 3 x WHW0303 Velop home mesh nodes (along with a the Linksys MR8300 router) to replace our existing home network as we were suffering from internet drop outs and patchy coverage in some areas of our villa. Everything was really easy to set up using the Linksys app and the end result is massively improved speed and coverage throughout the villa.

didnt work
by all accounts its the best product on the market. sadly i was unable to set it up. i bought 3, the first one i tried despite being hard wired to the parent node would not recognize the one i was trying to connect. my advice would be have someone install it for you if you are like me and dont really understand how it all works. the set up wizard appears good but it doesnt help troubleshoot

It works perfectly
It was very easy to install and, above all, it works perfectly.I can now initiate a call near a node and move to another location in a different room served by another node without any interruption. I bought 2 extra nodes to add to the one installed by the internet service provider and my home coverage is now excellent.

Great product, I covered 550m2 with high speed
Great product, it covered my duplex plus rooftop, total of 550m2, high speed, great is that have Ethernet so you can plug devices which are won’t wireless. I use it in combination with D link router. Router is on ground floor and this devices are on the first and 2nd floor.

Not a good mesh system.
This is not the perfect solution for home WiFi. I bought the pack of 3 towers initially and have had to add an extra one, hence this purchase. Setting up the system took a while but once you get used to the Velop App it becomes easier, adding additional towers is straightforward. The problem is the range. You can’t position them more than about 10m apart otherwise they won’t communicate, less distance if you have obstacles or thick concrete walls. I live in a small villa and it’s taken 4 towers to get coverage everywhere. Also, the Internet speed drops off dramatically from one tower to the next. At the primary tower connected to the modem I’ll get close to the 500mbps I pay for, but each connected tower will only give me 100mbps. This defeats the purpose of having a mesh router system. In effect the additional towers are merely acting as boosters which isn’t the same thing. The App is useful to monitor and control the system, but the speed check option is pointless, it just takes the speed from the primary tower, not the secondary towers so you have no indication of the actual speed around the house. Use a laptop and a third party speed test website to see what you really get. Worth the money? Definitely not, you’d be better to buy two separate powerful routers and run them on separate networks - one up, one down.
