Update: 4.5 years later these chairs are still perfect, no problems. However, I just noticed the picture on this page and it is a different model now. Check out my picture. The ones I have are curved. After searching for chairs for the kitchen island in our new home, I stumbled across these and got them - despite the lack of reviews (something I NEVER do). We couldn't be happier. Assembly was unbelievably easy. Very sturdy. Fabric is nice. Love the look and curves. We use them on laminate floors and are not concerned about scratching. Easy to raise and lower. We had an Oscar party the day we got them delivered (24 hours free delivery) and our friends sat in them almost the entire party. One of them just asked me today for the info on them - which is what led me to post the review today. Don't hesitate. My husband and I each weigh between 175 and 210 and they support us easily and no wobbling.
