After using this for some time, found that it actually helps reduce dark spots and uneven skin tone. Downside is you must remember to put on SPF50 sunscreen after applying this, unless you go to sleep immediately after applying (with lights off!)

I'm 42 and have age spots on my hands and a few on my face. If you use it everyday consistently it will fade your spots. The couple on my hands are pretty dark and this didn't help all that much (think I need a laser treatment for those), but the few on my face faded. It will NOT take spots away completely so if that's what you need no over the counter cream will do that. However my facial spots were reduced by about 60%. I did run out and went without for about 2 weeks. My spots did start darkening so consistency is the key with this product. Also, it takes time. Mine didn't start fading until about 3 weeks of everyday use. I'd recommend this product if you are willing to be patient and use everyday. If not you may want to consider the expensive laser treatments.
