Raw Cocoa Butter 100% Pure 16 oz.

After reading some reviews in general for this company and other companies selling cocoa butter, the two biggest concerns I had was making sure I received the purchased weight and making sure the product wasn't spoiled. I have never purchased cocoa butter (raw) before, so I didn't know what to expect. First thing I did after receiving the tub was weigh it. I was pleased that it was a pound as ordered. After weighing I opened it up not knowing what to expect in regards to the smell and just hoped it wasn't rancid. Not only was it NOT rancid, but it was so delicious smelling I had to close it for fear of ruining my diet! It was a rich chocolatey cocoa smell -- like the Hershey's cocoa powder for hot chocolate.I used this for a homemade beauty product and cannot remark on how it is to cook or bake with. The chunks melted evenly and easily in the double boiler. When poured in the moulds, it solidified smoothly even with the extra ingrediants. When applied to the skin it was rich and moisturizing and even with the added essential oils, it still retained a bit of it's chocolate smell.I am very happy, thus far with the product. I will see how long it will keep in it's homemade beauty product form.

I did a lot of research on coco butter before I decided to order this. I will admit I was nervous and couldn't wait for the arrival to see if I had made a mistake by ordering this. I am very pleased with this product so far. It has all the characteristics of natural coco butter from what I researched. It arrived 3days early and Very well packaged. The product looks exactly like the picture (if not better), plus it has a company label on the front of it giving details about the company and the product. The coco butter has a chocolate aroma, and the texture is like a smooth moisture clay texture. I have melted some of the butter already. It melted very easily and once it melts it looks like regular butter/oil. I assume this product will last a long time because it doesn't take much of the product once melted, and the container was completely full as on the photo.

I received my raw Cocoa Butter as promised and as described. It comes exactly as pictured but wrapped in plastic so you know you're getting a new one.As for the butter, it smells almost like chocolate! The aroma isn't strong so that's a bonus! I haven't melted it yet but I've taken a tiny piece and rubbed it against my skin on my arm. Surprisingly, it left a non-greasy SHEEN behind and made it feel SOFT!!! And, no, it doesn't melt with your body heat so you have to take some out and melt it in the microwave or on the stove.Overall, this will be a staple in my skin care regimen. I'm using this as a base for my homemade body butter w/ coconut oil, evoo, and aloe vera gel :) My skin loves this stuff and so do I! And I will be purchasing again from this company soon. Very Satisfied Customer!

I have been using the Raw Cocoa Butter from Hasni Beauty for the last few weeks. It's proving to be a great ingredient in my homemade lotions (and hopefully soaps!). It's sent to you in a 16oz "take out" container, but don't let that deter you - open up the lid! What you'll find is a container full of cocoa butter goodness. Actual product is measuring over 16oz for me - closer to 18oz so that's a bonus! It's cut in thick chunks which shouldn't be too much of a problem no matter you are using it for. I haven't had any problems when melting the butter. Takes a little time, but overall a great consistency. It's a creamy color and smells scrumptious. The one downfall is the actual package it's in. Between the take-out container look and the label that is half rubbed off (you can't read it) it could definitely turn off customers. Overall I'm enjoying the product and would recommend to anyone.

This cocoa butter comes packaged in large to medium to small chunks inside a 32 ounce sized, plastic container. I weighed the product on my kitchen scale and it was indeed a full pound of cocoa butter. The smell is heavenly (smells just like fresh cocoa). This melts down great in a double boiler or mini electric crock pot (for melting chocolate etc.) with some beeswax, shea butter, other beneficial carrier oils and essential oils for excellent lip and body balms.Highly recommended! A+++Tip: I let this cocoa butter warm to room temperature and chopped it up into smaller sizes for melting down when I need it and stored it in a quart sized mason jar with tightly sealed lid in the refrigerator to keep fresh for longer (I've had cocoa butter stay fresh like that for years with no rancidity issues).

Melted pretty quickly to use in my body butter. Cocoa butter is cocoa butter. Since the product was crumbled up, I received more air than product. I'll pass next time.
