Fantastic Adapter for Unlimited Fizz!
I recently purchased the CGA320 to TR21-4 Soda Maker CO2 Tank Cylinder Direct Adapter, and it has completely transformed my carbonation game. This adapter is a perfect fit for both my 5lb CO2 tank and my SodaStream "Source" seltzer dispenser, providing me a seamless and efficient connection that has elevated my home carbonation experience. The installation was a breeze, instructions were provided and washers were already in place (you get a second pair of washers too!) and I was thrilled to find that the adapter fit snugly onto both my CO2 tank and SodaStream dispenser without any issues. The build quality is impressive, ensuring a secure connection that doesn't leak and gives me the confidence to use it throughout the day.One of the standout features for me is the versatility it offers. With this adapter, I can now make unlimited carbonated drinks without the constant worry of depleting my CO2 supply. It has significantly enhanced the convenience and cost-effectiveness of my home carbonation setup. The ability to connect it effortlessly to my SodaStream Source Seltzer dispenser has been a game-changer. I no longer have to rely on small 14.5 oz CO2 canisters, and the larger 5lb tank means I can enjoy carbonated drinks for an extended period without the need for frequent CO2 purchases. Moreover, the peace of mind knowing that I won't run out of CO2 at inconvenient times is priceless. This adapter has truly given me the freedom to enjoy fizzy beverages at my own pace (which is a lot) without any limitations. I do turn the tank off after every use (Turn on tank, depress SodaStream 5 times, turn off tanks, continue to depress SodaStream to clear the line...usually get another 5 bursts of CO2).In conclusion, the CGA320 to TR21-4 Soda Maker CO2 Tank Cylinder Direct Adapter is a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their home carbonation setup. It fits perfectly, provides a secure connection, and offers the flexibility to enjoy unlimited carbonated drinks without the worry of running out of CO2. I highly recommend this adapter for its quality, ease of use, no metallic tastes and the freedom it brings to your carbonation experience. Cheers to endless fizzy delights!

X lb tank to threaded Sodastream!
Going on month 7 of 1-2 liters per day of carbonated water. Important if you don't have a 2nd stage reg: only crack open the tank knob, pressurize the hose, then turn OFF the tank knob before pressing the top button of the Sodastream. For at least the first half the pressure in the tank is much to high to freeflow. It overwhelms the water bottle quickly and forces water out the seal and blowoff valve of the Sodastream. The pressure will read nearly 800 until the tank is much closer to empty. The closer you near the end of the tank, the more important it is to start with COLD water to carbonate. You're not making efficient use of your gas forcing it into room temp water. Be sure not to add anything to the water until after carbonation. Tip: for $2 more than the 5lb tank, get the 10lb tank.(at least that's the AirGas price matrix.) Its not super crucial to get food grade CO2.

Acceptable but could last longer
Worked well for about 9 months before the seal on the hose went out where it is crimped on, I manually opened the valve on the co2 tank for each use otherwise it will slowly leak, so 4 out of 5 stars.

Only lasted about a week
I have another similar hose that feeds my Soda Stream that is connected to a 5lb Co2 cylinder. This hose works fine but is braided and very stiff. I thought I would try this hose as it is more flexible. It worked great for about 8 days. I noticed the my tank of Co2 only lasted about 8 days or so and needed to be replaced. Normally, I can go about 6 weeks. I thought the tank might have been light or some other problem but the place that I swap them out said the 5lb tanks are the only ones they weigh to verify they are full so getting a light one wasn't likely.I connected the new tank and this new hose and adapter. After about 8 days I noticed there was no pressure going into the water bottle. I checked the new tank and there was plenty of pressure left.I disassembled the connection and plugged in a regular Soda Stream canister and all worked fine. Then I plugged to new hose back in and the valve that connected to the Soda Stream leaked audibly. I tried to tighten it but risked breaking the soda stream so I replaced this hose and adapter with the old braided on and everything worked just fine.I am guessing there was a slow leak that accounted for why the first tank ran out so fast. The the valve failed altogether and the leak became audible.Liked the flexibility but perhaps their QC could be better. Can't recommend this system at this point.
