A nice rug; not too thin as I feared it might be, vibrant and appealing colors and it seems to be of good quality manufacture (no loose threads, uneven seams, etc.). It arrived rolled up, completely wrapped in plastic and then inside a long cardboard box. When it was unrolled and laid on the wood floor, there were no buckling, wrinkles or other problems. One end was somewhat folded downward from having been rolled up, but within a few minutes, gravity fixed it. I did buy and place a rug pad under it (which is recommended), as it is situated under the front of a side chair in my living room. Even then, however, it only took an inexpensive 2' x 4' pad to secure the rug. As far as I am concerned, this is a nice looking rug, not cheap at all with strong colors and appears to be of durable manufacture. For the price, it is a good deal, better than typically found at brick-and-mortar stores.

This carpet was a great surprise. I ordered it for my living room of my new home in South Korea. Upon arrival the carpet was noted to be in excellent condition. It was packaged for the journey in very heavy plastic and when taken out of its protective wrap it was noted to be in pristine condition. Some of the previous reviewers noted that the carpet is darker, and it is. Not substantially darker, but darker none the less. I believe the picture that is shown is of the same carpet pattern but in a lighter color. In essence, however, the carpet I received works even better in my living room than the one pictured, so kudos to Home Dynamix! The carpet is very densely woven. It has a rich, substantial feel underfoot and when you lay on it. The carpet is also lightly carved to show textural variation in the woven pattern. Surprisingly, the carpet was made in Turkey which is known for making excellent quality carpets (and a place I'd love to be stationed at). The carpet backing is very sturdy cross-weave material that causes the carpet to lay very well without a pad (however, some people may want to use an inexpensive pad to make it even more comfortable to lay on). I love the carpeting and all I can say is this is another great purchase from Amazon! Highly recommend!

It is a bit darker in person than in the picture, but the colors still work great in our living room. I love that not only are the squares different colors, some are a different kind of carpet (higher pile). I think it gives it depth, and a nice feel when walking on it. The colors are rich, it rolls out flat and ready to use without any hassle. I am thinking about buying this in a smaller size for in front of our front door I like it so much. When we first moved, we were on a tight budget and bought a VERY inexpensive rug from walmart and it was awful. The backing left white powder every where, it matted horribly, and just felt cheap on your feet. This rug is such an upgrade for us from that. It is everything that I was hoping it would be, and maybe a little more. Ours was flawless, and a few weeks later still looks new (after being walked/crawled/jumped/stuff dragged on it). Vacuums up nice. The price is great for the quality you receive with this rug!

My husband and I were looking for a large, cheap rug. This fit the bill just fine. It looks nice and is a great deal for the price. You do definitely need to get a liner to hold it in place though, or it will be sliding all over your floor (if you're putting it down on a non-carpeted surface). Do what I did and just buy 2 bathmat sized sticky liners, cut them each in half, and put one under each corner. No need to buy a giant one. I will say that I knocked a star off because I'm not sure why but I find the rug pretty difficult to vacuum, hard to explain but true. It's like each square is just a hair higher or lower than the surrounding squares, and the "grain" for lack of a better word is different. So I have to turn the vacuum at a different angle for each square to vacuum it right. Not a huge deal. Also, it's a magnet for fur, but I mean...so is everything. Overall, it's great but don't expect miracles at this price.

This is a beautiful carpet. It is currently taped at the corners because it needs to relax and flatten down, but other than that I love the carpet. The colors are beautiful, the edging is good (so far), and it looks great in my dining room. It’s very soft and just the right thickness. You would really expect this to be more expensive for the quality.

Good quality, holds up to wear and tear, it looks just like the photos.

This rug looks great but it is thin and after 6 months of use I had to get rid of it because it kept creeping up on one side and just didn't lay flat to the floor. [carpet floor]

Ordered the 8' X 10' Home Dynamix Catalina 4467 area rug (actual dimension is 7'10" X 10'5"). The quality of the rug is great for the price paid. It's not thin and it's not plush either, this rug has adequate thickness and I did not use padding underneat. As stated by other reviewers, the rug is much darker in person than it appears in the online picture. The darker color will easily show lint and would need to be vaccumed more frequently. It came in a roll and layed down flat on my hardwoord floor without any problems. It fits perfectly in the guest bedroom floor. Overral, I think it was a good buy compared to what I have seen in most brick-and-mortar stores. I would definitely reccommend this rug.

Aussi prévoyez un mini aspirateur au quotidien pour enlever le plus de marques possibles. Mais j adore la couleur. L épaisseur et il tient bien en place. Aussi la livraison super rapide

Really impressed with the carpet. I only issue was the delivery experience, avoid Canada Post, they refused to deliver it and I had to go pick it up my self!

Rug look very pleasing, and suits the room perfect, But... you definitely need something to help it stay in place (just wish they would have advised of that upfront).

I'm wondering why in the world Amazon continues to use FedEx to deliver. Do they not realize that they are one of the main reason porch pirates feel comfortable theiving, thus costing Amazon money in the long run. Once AGAIN, FedEx delivery person did not ring or knock. Just dropped off the package and left. It's a good thing my father saw this idiot coming up the walkway. I don't care if people say "you could have them ask for a signature" that's not the point. When a package is delivered, unless there's a specific sign for them not to knock or ring, the delivery person should announce themselves.

As you can see the wrinkles, bumps are still in the rug. Close to a month and still a tripping hazard for me. Just had knee surgery so can not afford to fall again.
