This hood support has already failed, and I bought it 5 months ago. Definitely not a good product.

Easy install even for car repair dunce.
As a female I am always excited when I am able to fix things on my 2007 Volvo C70 all by myself. If you have ever had one of these go bad and quit holding your hood up as intended, then you understand how frustated I was that mine quit doing its job! This hood support was extremely easy to install. And that says a lot because I know very little about working on cars! I think start to finish I spent maybe 10 minutes on the whole task. Meaning removing the bad support then putting the new one on. It functions as it is supposed to and my hood now opens easily and stays up when I have to do tasks under the hood. No more bonks or head aches! Functional and great value!
