I definitely think this is the best beauty book out there for teenagers and people just starting out with makeup. This book contains so much information on not just makeup, but beauty related subjects like skincare and hair styles. I love the book and go to it if I want inspiration on how to do my makeup or hair that day. It also gives you a wide variety of ideas for how to do your makeup for a party or if you want to do something unique with your hair. This book is amazing and you won't regret buying it.

I only glanced through the book long enough to make sure I was okay with it before giving it to my 12 year-old for Christmas, but she seems to like it and is working her way through it. She's been pushing to wear make-up, and I wanted her to understand that different looks can give different messages. She likes how the book gives various looks for the same styles, such as a school look, a date look or a weekend look.

This book is filled with make-up and hair tips. Large color photos to get the look and colors that are best for your skin...eye and hair color. Great for young girls who are just starting out and curious how to apply make-up. Helpful for getting comfortable with what make-up to use and how to express your individual look and style.

My 11 year old daughter asked for this book for her birthday. She's just learning to experiment with make-up and loves fashion and this book is perfect. The title of the book is exactly what it is...an ultimate guide to beauty. This was a great purchase and we were not disappointed.

It's not really a straightforward guide. It's more like a compilation of looks taken from their magazines. There are many images and examples providing an excellent resource for inspiration.

This subscription was a great Christmas gift for my 16 year old daughter. She loves to read and is interested in fashion and celebrities as well as the makeup tips. I chose hard copy over digital to get her away from digital screens occasionally.

Was good except it didn't say what products were used n no prices so for that reason it was pointless to look at

It arrived very fast and was in good condition. As for the book itself it's very helpful in deciding on makeup, hair and nails ideas! I often use it as a reference when I'm unsure of what to do to my hair etc. Many pages of the book I've bookmarked for later! I would recommend this for anyone who is just getting into makeup or for people who want to change their look up! As a side note though almost everything that is in this book were in previous Seventeen magazines. Overall I would recommend this!

This is a great book for any beginners out there looking for inspiration and just general beauty tips, which is the reason I bought this book (because I were a beginner) I was very pleased with the help this book gave me, it made me feel more confident and comfortable with wearing make-up because I knew how to apply it in the right way.
