Great for our children's long hair. Even good for curly hair.

This product was recommended to me by a work friend. I have very long hair, damaged by perm/ coloring etc. I love my long hair but absolutely HATE brushing out all of the tangles. I have a lot of thin hair, so it tangles quite easily. I chose the set of 3 brushes since I wanted a "travel size" brush, as well as a brush to keep at work. One of the brushes has a "second layer" of bristles. When you look at the brush, it seems like any old hair brush. Once you start combing through your wet/ damp hair you will soon realize this brush is different. I wasn't wincing as I brushed my hair. I would say that I spent the same amount of time I typically take on brushing my hair, however there was no pain as I detangled and the brush never once got stuck in my hair. It's a quality product, especially for people who have long hair that knots easily, or for a little girl who is learning to brush her hair on her own.

Some reviewers claim these brushes don't do much, but I think that's what makes them perfect for kiddos who hate the traditional tug of a regular brush. These bristles "collapse" when they encounter tough tangles, effectively loosening them, but not brushing them all the way out the first time through. This saves the user from the pain of a stubborn knot getting yanked or ripped out, but instead means getting a good brush through will take a few extra pain-free strokes. My daughter finally enjoys brushing her hair. She loves her long hair but has always hated brushing it, as it tangles so easily and is terribly painful for her to brush those tangles out. Bonus: The brush with the Mongolian Boar bristles adds noticeable shine. We love these brushes, recommend them to friends, and will definitely buy them again when we need new ones some day. *I should note that we also brought the BelleMoi brand brush and I think those bridles collapse TOO easily, so I recommend the Wet brush over that brand, even considering the price difference.

My stepdaughter has super curly hair. She always wants to use my paddle brush which was expensive so I wanted to get her one of her own that worked but was less expensive. She picked out the Elsa design and was super excited when it arrived, she said “it’s even better in person”. I expected the brush to work better on her hair than it does. It gets the job done for sure but it takes a lot of time to detangle. It’s not a bad brush, it’s just not what I expected. It’s good for a kids brush but I would be disappointed if I got it for myself. She is happy with the product though and that is what matters.

It takes a really stellar product for me to write a review, and that's exactly what this product is. I have chemically processed, dry, wavy hair that reaches just past the middle of my back. I absolutely dread washing my hair because it is a huge struggle to detangle it, usually taking about 15 minutes to do so with a wide tooth comb. Finally out of exasperation I got on Amazon to find reviews for a product that could simplify this process before I did something drastic like cutting off all my hair. I found the Wet Brush, and decided it looked the most promising. I ordered it, not expecting much. When it arrived I was very skeptical because it looks and feels pretty much like any other hairbrush. There is slightly more give to the bristles on this brush, which made me even more skeptical because I figured there was NO WAY it could contend with my matted mess of wet hair. I was SO WRONG!! I literally just used this tonight. After I towel dried my hair and applied my usual arsenal of detangling spray and defrizzing serum, I took this brush to my hair. WOW! It immediately and effortlessly started working out the knots. It was completely painless, and I could even be aggressive with the brush without pulling and tugging (you won't need to be aggressive, however). It's even super gentle on the scalp. It took me about 2 minutes to fully smooth out my whole head. I noticed that the hair in the brush afterward is the same if not slightly less than usual, so I can rest assured it's not ripping out my hair. If you dread dealing with your hair after you've washed it, you really need this product. I'm looking forward to the next time I can use it!

This wet brush is more than great i took my daughter ti get a haircut last week (her hair is really curly and get tanglers just by looking at it) and the lady used this beautiful brush and i was impressed by how fast,no cry ,no effort and there was nearly no hair breakage i felt in love and run to amazon to get it and so far im loving it and more my daughter she love elsa so she allows me to brush her more often. The only thing was the brush box was broken but the brush was in perfect shape love it and recommended it ti everyone.

This brush is well made but gentle on the scalp and simply beautiful. It was an ideal addition to the gifts that I got for my niece for her 5th birthday. I would recommend this for kids 5 years old and above since it is a big brush that can be used by adults as well.
