The Final Temptation: A Neighbors to Lovers Romance (Men of Honor Book 4)

What a great way to end the series!!! Kayla is such a riot!!! The things that she did had me laughing so hard that I had tears!!! Her and Cooper are a great match and I love their story. I wish that the book would have been an actual novel so that their story would have been more in-depth. I feel like we just got the cliff note version. It was good but it just seemed like there were parts missing. I wish there had been a little more background like there was with Jaxson and Julia. After all there are years of history there. But don’t get me wrong this was a great way to end the series. I’m anxious to get started on the spin-off series based on what happened at the end of the book however I think I might take a little break first. I love the characters in the series and have grown attached to them. They are a great combination and a perfect example that you can still have a family even when you do not share the same DNA. The saying that blood is thicker than water is not necessarily true. Sometimes the blood has too much thinner in it and sometimes water has a lot of thickener in it. I just absolutely love this series!!! If you are looking for something great to read then you should definitely check out the series!!!

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - Cooper & Kayla never did quite thrill me as a couple compared to the other alpha males. Coop is definitely dominant & bossy in the bedroom, a good dirty talker. As they are waiting to walk down the aisle to get married Kayla tells the girls about their love story. These two are opposites & we see that right from the beginning. Kayla is not quite 18 & teases him in the hot tub next door. Cooper is trying to become sheriff & doesn't think he could date Kayla until this point since he doubted he could keep it in his pants. Kayla shows her age - she is impulsive, doesn't think things through, is incredibly jealous, puts Cooper's job in jeopardy. When she goes to a party after throwing a fit about a girl hanging on Coop, Kayla gets manhandled by a guy at a party & Cooper has had enough, wanting to smash this guy's face in but knowing he has to stay under control. What troubled me was how little he controlled his anger in front of Kayla, that she had just been hurt & yet he really lets her have it. He ends the argument & any potential chance of a relationship with her by basically saying that Kayla spreads poison wherever she goes. "I can't let myself love him anymore." Coop is way too harsh but the good part is that Kayla takes his words to heart in a positive way, apologizing for the wrong things she's done, keeping her crazy wild spirit without causing more problems. The author does a great job of describing Kayla's pain at this hurtful words...and I just couldn't go back to liking Coop after that. He is all sweet & romantic, shows up at her prom, promises that the minute she turns 18 they are going to get it on. "I have no doubt, Kayla, that you were made just for me." I'm confused, not sure there are going to be more books in this series or spin off stories or what. My all-time favorites are Cade & Ruthie. She still calls him Big Guy & does their little fist bump. She even convinced him that she should be his "best man." Who can resist little Ruthie?

I have loved Kayla and Cooper since Fighting Temptation and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this story. I have always wanted to know how they came to be and KC Lynn delivered us such a beautiful story to let us know.Cooper has always been the quieter of our Men of Honor (well not quite as much as our Cade, but close ☺). We know he loves Kayla from the first three books and I have always just assumed that she was kinda in charge. She is such a feisty and sassy girl and she really does do some crazy stuff and he kinda just lets it slide…. Well guess what I was so wrong, because as quiet and reserved as we think good ole Coop is, ya its so not the case….he is totally in control.“You need to be careful of the games you keep playing with me and my d**k” he whispers, his tone as smooth as whiskey. “Because next time, Kayla, I will not be responsible for my actions, and believe me when I tell you, you are not ready for me, baby. Not yet”Kayla has definitely met her match in Cooper and together they are just fantastic!!!!! She has been in love with him since she was 14 years old and it was so awesome to watch her claim her man!We also get to visit with our favorite characters from the rest of the series, which I am always happy with. I absolutely loved this book it was such a sweet ending to the series and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Ah Kayla Kayla Kayla – the girl is very passionate about her man! This novella tells us Kayla and Cooper’s story. We find that they meet during those pesky high school years and that Cooper is 3 years older so there were some road blocks along the way. We also learn about some other crazy antics of Kayla as she goes about fighting for her man and making him realize her feelings for him.As for our sexy Cooper- our town Sheriff but don’t let that fool you, he is a true bad boy once the doors are closed and it is just him and Kayla. Talk about steamy and controlling! Dirty talking and talk charge –but you would expect that from a cop right! Kayla has her hands full!This is such a GREAT read. As with KC’s other books there is a lot of laughter and antics at times I was busting out loud with Kayla’s antics and ‘missions’. The banter of the friends as we see them since this is the novella at the end of the series, again had me laughing between the fun and love they had. The steamy scenes were definitely just that, STEAMY! KC continues to write some of the best stories and this series could not have wrapped up any nicer. I am looking forward to the beginning of her next series in which we were given a teaser in during THE FINAL TEMPTATION.Thank you again KC for sharing your talents with us!

Loved this novella featuring Kayla and Cooper. Whose story I have been dying to read ever since that moment in Julia and Jaxson's story. When Kayla and Julia believing Cooper is having an affair follow him to a motel and Kayla in her anger takes a baseball bat to Cooper's truck. Only to find she is completely mistaken and Cooper was actually picking up a custom made engagement ring for her. Which is one of my favourite moments from that particular story and why I was so keen to read this novella. And find out more about this fantastic couple.The story itself takes place on Kayla and Cooper's wedding day and as the girls are getting ready, the adorable Ruthie asks Kayla how she and Cooper first got together and from there Kayla tells her story; and what a great story it is. As it was full of emotion, heat, Kayla's sass and fun and I really enjoyed it. And I loved how the story came full circle; and I would totally recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this series.

We finally get to sassy mouthed Kayla and sexier than sin Coop. These are the two that have been a couple all the way through the series, and in this novella we get to see how they became a couple. There is a lot of flirting, smouldering looks, misunderstandings, smart comments and hot action between the sheets. Kayla frustrates the hell out of Coop with her sassiness, which is brilliant, especially as she does things even more just to wind him up. We've gotten to see this side of Kayla all through the series, but what none of us knew, because it was hidden behind her sharp, witty comments, was that she has a tender heart that is easily hurt, especially by Coop. His reaction when he does just that is soooo touching, I wanted to give him a big hug and tell him it would be alright, and at the same time smack him for saying what he did. Kayla and Coop are perfect for each other and their wedding day was both loving and funny. The guys reactions to the pink ties were ridiculous and hysterical, and Kayla's greeting to Coop when she gets down the aisle.........well, I would have expected nothing less from such a strong, sassy woman who knows she is well loved.

Thank you for giving us Kayla and Coopers story it was beautiful and I particularly loved the way it was told, it was very uplifting and because of Kayla's personality, very funny in parts.After reading all the previous in this wonderful series and spending 80% of the time in a state of complete sadness it made a refreshing change because Final Temptation was free of of any shocking scenes and emotional turmoil.Kayla and Cooper are extremely fortunate that they have lovely supporting Parents and home life and that was one of the first things I noticed especially after witnessing what Grace, Jaxson and Cade endured and so it made for a very sweet endearing read that summed everything up perfectly so far, but I do not feel sad at all because I know it's not over, there is more to come with Anna and Logan and Katelyn and for that I'm feeling very excited just don't keep us waiting to long.I think I'm going to have to download Beautifully Insightful, I'm defiantly on a K.C. Lynn roll..!!

Loved it. Jax and Julia's story was good but the writing got better with each book. I know, they were similar in ways, Alpha males with issues. However the writing kept you engaged. The introduction of other characters was great and I can't wait to read Anna and Logan's story in the spin off series. Christopher's story is highly anticipated too. If you want hot romance strong men, action, angst and loyal friends, you'll love these stories.

K C Lynn is the Queen of a fabulous sex scene! I love the characters from this series and watching them all get their happy ending plays like an awesome film in my head. That's what great writing does. It allows you to picture everything in your mind.Loved loved loved
