EASY. PORTABLE. STURDY. (3 month review)
Live in a city where a lot of grill thefts happen on porches. I have always wanted my own gas grill but the idea of spending a lot of money to be able to easily have that flavor fast has deterred me. This is a solid choice. It is not a grill if you are cooking for a large group but I would say 2-4 people could easily get fed in a timely manner. I use 1 pound proud and tanks and store it in a medium sized duffel when it’s not in use in the trunk of my car. This will cook steaks chicken veggies anything well. You just have to get used to the temperature as there is no gauge. The portability here is so nice. Going on a road trip? To a friends house across town? Just on the tiny porch outside? EASY and simple just pop the legs out and fire it up. I love using this thing and the grate comes off completely so it is insanely easy to keep clean with minimal effort. I love this little grill. If you are looking to get something to cook for 2 people I don’t know why you would even need a full sized grill. Get this bad boy. I haven’t had plastic melt yet after a few months but I can say that probably happens if the grill is left with high heat for long periods. Still going strong and worth the money for this purchaser. Again. Not for the avid griller or feeding a small army but the small spacers I highly recommend giving this a try.

great little grill
this is my 3rd portable grill - and my favourite. they really nailed this - cooks nice and even. legs are solid. i enjoy using it. wish it went a little lower on the gas settings, and really wish it had a foldable grill shelf inside for toasting burger buns etc, but still very happy with this unit.

Great Little Grill
I’m a firm believer in the idea that you get what you pay for and this nice little grill confirms that thought. I use it as my outdoor kitchen in my little RV. I like the light weight and portability. Typically these small grills loose their luster and the grates rust after a few hot sessions. Not this one. The coating on the grate and the inside of the grill is quality. It has survived exceptionally well and cleans up easily. It has done a fine job with steak, hamburgers, chicken, and pork. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is for the heat. Yes, it gets hot enough to get the job done but you can’t put a sear on anything. That’s the only flaw I’ve found. Highly recommended.

Mighty Flavor, Mini Footprint: The Cuisinart Petite Gourmet is a Portable Powerhouse!
I recently picked up the Cuisinart Petite Gourmet Portable Gas Grill, and I am absolutely blown away by this little machine. If you're looking for a compact grill that doesn't compromise on cooking quality, look no further. This grill is an absolute game-changer for small balconies, camping trips, tailgating, or even just quick weeknight grilling for two. Performance That Surprises: Despite its small size, the 5,500 BTU burner heats up incredibly fast and distributes heat evenly across the 150 sq. in. stainless steel cooking surface. I’ve cooked everything from juicy burgers and delicate fish fillets to chicken breasts, and every item has come out perfectly seared and cooked through. The ability to achieve high heat quickly is crucial for good grilling, and the Petite Gourmet delivers consistently. Design & Portability Mastered: This is where the grill truly shines. Cuisinart designed this with portability in mind. The legs fold up and lock securely, and the built-in carry handle makes transporting it genuinely effortless—it feels like carrying a small suitcase. Setup takes literally 30 seconds. The stainless steel construction not only looks sleek and professional but also makes cleanup remarkably simple after a cookout. Perfect Capacity for Small Groups: While it’s compact, the 150 square inches of cooking space is surprisingly accommodating. It comfortably handled four large steaks at once, and you could easily fit six to eight regular-sized burgers. It's the ideal size for a family of four or a small group of friends at a campsite. Final Verdict: The Cuisinart Petite Gourmet is the best investment I’ve made in portable outdoor cooking. It’s tough, powerful, easy to clean, and genuinely portable. It’s built to last and provides true BBQ flavor wherever you go. Stop struggling with charcoal or heavy grills—this is the solution you need. Highly, highly recommend!

Really nice. Lower price makes this grill stand out. Good flame control.
Works great. Small size is perfect for storing in our camper storage compartment. Cooks well. Dont be fooled by the low BTU number. Burner is close to grill and enclosure is small so it cooks just as good as my big grill at the house.

Great little BBQ!
I received it in excellent condition and love the red. Not too heavy for me and fits perfectly in the case i got for it from Amazon. Also fits in my deck box so i can keep it outside. The first time I used it I brought it to the park and had a picnic with some friends. I did as directed and let the fire be lit for 15 minutes before I cooked the burgers. Warning to users: always spray it with some kind of nonstick spray because the hamburgers stuck on the grill. The next time I used it was at home and remembered to spray it and my steak came out perfect and didn’t stick. Cooks quickly on low setting so don’t walk away unless you want it well done. The cleaning up was semi- easy. The grill fits in the sink so i was able to soak it and it washed up good. Cleaning the inside was not as easy due to the fire element and having to clean underneath it. But, in the end, it’s a Great little BBQ! Highly recommend.

Great compact grill.
I bought this thing in Feb 2021 and it is still going strong. I use it rather frequently for camping. Today I just took it apart and cleaned all the grease and charcoal butts out of it and it's back to almost new. except for a few dents and scratches from being jostled around on 4 x 4 trips. Beware the removable grease drip pan. that can get really messy if you forget to clean before moving the thing. That's really the only drawback IMO. If your gonna travel with it, buy a case. You can get one for around $20. Makes it a lot easier to transport. In windy conditions, you're best off to place a windbreak (cardboard, 12 pack, whatever you have on hand) on the windward side for better heat generation. Keep grillin!

We got this because we wanted a no hassle SMALL portable bbq. This one was a bit more pricy but unlike the cheaper ones this is not flimsy. It’s a higher quality made. The legs are sturdy and the lock makes it easy to carry. It’s perfect for 2-4 people. Fits great In the boot and the gas tank stays sturdy when screwed in. We are very happy with this as we tried 2-3 cheaper/flimsy ones in the past and they all failed. Lids wouldn’t fit properly…. If you want something very portable, small and practical this is the one I put some items in Teh pix next/inside the grill for scale reference

Well built, nice looking and works great. You get what you pay for and this is a quality item. Cuisinart is a great brand and I couldn't be happier. Definitely recommend.

Works out of the box. No issues. It does not burn the food like others do. The overall quality is very good. Feet are plastic, but have no issues as others described. Relatively easy to transport in the car or to camping. Happy with the purchase. I could have bought a Coleman portable BBQ for a bit more money, but that one is heavy and bigger. For the size and quality, this cannot be beaten.

Didn't come with a hose. For the price that's surprising. And it's pretty simple. Heats up ok and cooks a few burgers but certainly not family sized. Hard to see when the gas gets lit. The flame is very small and hard to see.
