Nice quality, wood is great and drawing are very nice. The over all concept is also nice. Good game!

Build Quality : 9.5/10 • The game is packed very nicely in a good quality Box , the internal products are also packed individually in good quality boxes (which you won't find even in games like Scythe ! ) • The main gameboard is built of sturdy cardboard • Army pawns and forts are made of wood handcrafted beautifully • tokens ,coins all built of decent quality ( Coins could have been metal though,i won't mind paying extra for those ) • the playing cards are good (Could have been a little more Sturdy though) Gameplay : 8/10 Gameplay is engaging, if you want to have fun time with family or friends. The game has 2 versions "Basic" and "Advanced". The basic one takes around 30-60 minutes to complete one game, the advanced version can take 1 hour - 2 hours to complete. Aesthetics and Artwork : 10/10 Game is designed very artistically taking care of very minute details starting from the Main Box Artwork to all the Cards which have unique artwork , all the tokens are designed beautifully. The Game manual is designed beautifully that teaches everything about the game. Value for money : 10/10 The game is Value for money considering it is the only such high quality game created specifically for indian players and price is cheap compared to its equivalent U.S games. Overall : 9/10 The game is overall built very beautifully and is fun to play. There are many things the game could have better in gameplay but still it is the Best Indian Board game for till today ( Feb 2024) !

The game is a little complex to understand in the beginning, but once you start playing its actually a lot of fun for the entire family. And it's about strategy so it teaches kids that there are trade offs and compromises to get to a better position. The best part is that my son remembered the names of the Mahajanapada republics, their unique product, and capital cities for his social studies exam, thanks to the game! Highly recommend it as a gift or for family. It's worth the investment.

I am an avid board game enthusiast and take pride to mention that I have played games like scythe, catan, pandemic, ticket to ride, risk and others. PROS: I recently purchased Bharata 600 BC and have played it a few times now. Boy what a game it is! It’s not as complicated as scythe and not a simple trade, build, settle concept like catan. The game rule book is fairly easy to understand and the youtube videos are a good visual reference to understand the gameplay. In this, you earn resources, plan an army and battle/ conquer territories with opponents. If that was not fun enough, the designers have taken it a notch ahead in advanced game play to add real life events to make it interesting. CONS: A couple more mahajanapadas would have been interesting and if some neighbouring country regions could have been included. Maybe even the Indian owned islands to expand seaport / harbours. But overall, it’s an amazing game and would definitely recommend it for gaming enthusiasts. GREAT JOB, GO INDIA GAMES!!!!!

Stategy game, has two levels of play depending on complexity. Build quality of all elements ie. cards, pieces etc. is exceptional.

Holding a wooden fort or a silver-style punch-marked coin adds a level of immersion that a digital screen or a plastic miniature simply cannot replicate. ​The Gameplay: Strategy Over Luck ​I am a huge proponent of the Advanced Mode. While many historical games rely on rolling dice and hoping for the best, Bharata 600 BC is a "thinker’s game." ​Resource Management: You have to balance Iron, Wood, and Food. It forces you to think like a real ruler—if you don't feed your people, you can't lead an army. ​Personality Cards: I love that you can choose a "role" (like a Conqueror or a Leader). This asymmetry means that every time you play, the logic of the game shifts. You aren't just playing the board; you’re playing your character's strengths. ​The "Wildcard" Factor ​The Event Cards are the highlight for me. They simulate the "chaos" of ancient India—monsoons, riots, or sudden trade booms. It prevents the game from becoming a predictable math problem. You have to be a "responsible king" and adapt to sudden changes, which adds a layer of emotional tension to the strategy. ​Final Verdict: 9/10 ​I highly recommend it. It is rare to find a game that is this educational without being boring. It’s a perfect mental workout that rewards patience and clever planning over raw aggression.
