No Problems. Nice Taste, All Consumed.

Only ever used black beans in tins but trying to be healthier and keep costs down thought I'd try these. Really pleased I did. You can taste the quality and purity of them. I'd advice following instructions to a t as beans won't soften enough otherwise. Happy knowing I'm only eating black beams with no preservatives etc. These are part of my subscribe and save now. Thank you!

UPDATE: Wholefood Earth customer services say they are investigating this batch (57119). They offered a replacement but I have lost confidence in that supplier of theirs and they have agreed to get a prepay postage label so I can return the rest of the beans. I am concerned that the batch I received of this product may be toxic. I won't be using the rest of the packet. I am experienced at cooking beans: soak overnight, hard boil for 10 minutes, gentle boil for 45 minutes to and hour depending on the size and freshness of the beans, don't add salt to water. First, these beans did not expand that much on soaking. Second, after 45 minutes, though small, the beans did not squish at all. At an hour the skins were still tough. I tasted one and it was very bitter. I tasted two more also very bitter and then a griping in the stomach. I tried to contact amazon but the bot was a real pain and call to customer services did not work. I may try to contact wholefoods direct but in the meantime I think this is a way to attract attention to a product that seems to be dangerous. Certainly I won't be using the rest of the packet

Von der Grösse her deutlich kleiner als die roten Kidney-Bohnen, und sie sollten vor der Weiter-Verarbeitung definitiv noch gründlich abgespült werden. Es bleibt sichtlich einiges an Schalen-Resten/Schwebstoffen beim Waschen zurück. Wiederverschliessbarkeit der Produktverpackung ist nur so-so gegeben. Besser nach dem ersten Öffnen gleich umfüllen. Gute Packungsgrösse sonst. Ansonsten exzellentes Produkt.

Das Mahlwerk von meiner Saeco Maschine ist damit überfordert. Habe ich in 7 Jahren noch nie erlebt. Der Kaffeesatz ist zudem so fest, dass das Wasser nicht durchkommt. Mehrfach ausprobiert. Alle anderen Bohnen 🫘 funktionieren einwandfrei.
