Great 32 GB metal case flash drive for my car
I got this 32 GB flash drive for my Toyota. The onboard system only accepts 32 gig flash drives, nothing bigger. I listen to downloaded Youtube music, after converting the .mp4 files to .mp3 or, better, M4A apple sound files. Now I can plug in the flash drive and listen to my music while driving. I specifically got this metal casing USB because my old plastic 32 Gig USB was starting to have cracks. This new device is very small and very sturdy, easy to plug into the console.

Works Well for Me
I bought this because I like the color. I use it for a special boot USB, and this way I don't get it confused with all of the black USB drives that I have.I can't comment on its speed or longevity -- it holds the special boot ISO that I use frequently.

Small & Compact USB 2.0 & 3.0
Update for the 32GB Gold 3.0 version:It gets warm to hot. Write speeds are decent whilst transferring files from PC. When done it was warm, but plugged into my car stereo for music playback, it got real hot. So I will not use this for that particular usage which I purchased it for.USB 2.0 version: Great for putting on your key chain for various things or for those older car stereo units that refuse to work with newer ones. Decently fast for small file transfers for work documents. Nice aluminum housing that seems it will outlast the plastic ones. Not had any issues with it so far.

Great USB that works with Mac OS!
Needed a USB drive from a reputable company that was not USB C and could work with MacOS. Does the job well for the right price!

Small, compact, fast. What more could you want in a flash drive?
These things fit PERFECTLY into my Dell PowerEdge R430 server's internal USB port without interfering with anything else. The gold-ish finish is a nice touch.

Perfect!
The Verbatim Metal Executive USB 3.0 32GB Drive is perfect! The solid metal construction and small size is ideal. I measured a Read speed of 102 MB/sec and a Write speed of 57 MB/sec with a 5GB file and the drive formatted for exFat. The drive did become warm, but was not too hot to touch.

This is USB 3.0 only for M$ Windows (well, above Windows 7)
I just received this. I have not opened it. I bought it based upon the reputation of Verbatim to sell only really quality items. It was 64 GB and USB 3.0. , it is a metal design. (I have purchased some plastic based USB keys that got quite hot.) I realized that other manufacturers sell USB 3.2. Still this seemed like a good deal.On the back of the package is the part I did not notice on website. That for Linux (and I use Linux) it is the much slower USB 2.0. I will keep them, and use them.Buyer beware of what you are actually going to get.
