Our product does not use retardants.

Do you hang the futon to dry daily with the cover on or off?

Please dry the FUTON with the cover attached. Wash the cover only if it gets dirty.

If you sleep on it the first day, will it stop expanding?

Once FUTON is fully expanded, we recommend using it.

I just got this and found out it’s not flat - there’s a pretty big ‘ridge’ in the middle because it was folded in the package. Does that go away?

Make sure you lay your mattress out for a few days before you use it, that will puff it up more. Yes, the ridge goes away in time. Mine has no ridge at all now.
