The Carolina Reaper curry powder is the real deal. It was so hot that I could not finish my small serving in one sitting. This is coming from someone from the Southwest US who has had her fair share of hot chilies. Those who say it isn't as hot as expected must have watered it down or built up a tolerance to the hottest chilies. Eat with care!Update: I tried the Phaal next. The heat ratings are accurate-- the Phaal is still extremely spicy but less so than the Carolina Reaper. Good flavour, but I recommend adding cream to enhance flavour and tamp down the heat. It's a bit pricey for just a small packet of powder, but considering it's restaurant quality and is enough to feed a big family (or multi-day servings for one), it's a decent value. Can't wait to try the Vindaloo!

Very hot, my husband loved them

This was a delighfully hot curry, gave me a good running nose, and plenty of tears.The reason that I have only given it 4 out of 5 is that - although it definitely sctratched that spicy itch - it wasn't as mind-blowing as I had expected.I've had my fair share of phalls in many parts of the UK, and I reckon that many of them were (at least) the equal of this Carolina Reaper curry. From the advertising above, I thought it would blow me away, but it didn't. The search for the curry that finally destroys me goes on ...With that being said, it does have a great flavour, and the heat level is still devilishly hot. If you like very hot curries, then go for it. You probably won't regret spending the small amount of money to get a product that produces a really hot, spicy & flavourful meal.I enjoyed mine with Basmati rice, Poppadoms and Hot Chilli Pickle.100% would buy again (unless something hotter comes along).

I like spicy food a lot and I brought this hoping it would be spicy but thinking it might be a gimmick.....I was very wrong.This spice mix is very hot and very tasty, I had it with quorn pieces as I’m a vegetarian and they soaked it all up. I was reaching for the milk between mouthfuls haha.I even took it to work to convince my mates it was just a standard curry 😅 they did not fare very well!Buy it, enjoy the pain 👍🏻

This curry it hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥 just how I like it the best way to use it is to marinate yr chicken or meat then add plain yougart leave in fridge over nyte then roast...fry..or make yr onion an tomato fry then add marinade yum yum

Very hot but really tasty.

Ok for a joke / novelty but not an enjoyable curry as Too spicy and most ingredients had to be thrown in the bin!
