I have tried Beta Sitosterol before and found it very effective for prostate problems. Not a cure but absolutely an anti inflammatory. Tried this product as it was stronger than the last brand I tried. Both are effective, I take one per day in the morning but if I have a flare up have tried 2 per day one in the morning and one in late evening before retiring. As I say it isn't a cure but certainly assists in reducing symptoms and a great alternative to taking antibiotics. Has zero after effects or side effects that I can determine, may have assisted in a little weight gain? Only been taking for a month or so so this is something I can monitor. Give it a try good for prostititis but be prepared to experiment with dosage. It may be that it is very good for preventing or moderating flare ups and then you can stop taking it until needed, I'll have to see how it works out.

Havent taken enough of these capsules to know if there is any benefit.Think you need to take a complete course of them.

I was getting up two or three times a night to go to the toilet. Since taking these will Saw Palmetto it has reduced to once a night. I have to assume therefore that for me they work.

Since taking one capsule before bed in combination with one capsule of saw palmetto the frequence of nocturnal bladder emptying has been reduced from several times to a maximum of one time. In my point of view that is a remarkable success !
