Saved my 6 year old natural gas fed patio heater
So the manufacturer is kaput, can't find parts anywhere-- and amazon to the rescue. This part was nearly identical in every relevant manner to the original. Installed and works perfect. I did have to tweak the alignment of the bracket to get reliable first click ignition but I attribute that to age of the heater, as this product isn't the bracket- just telling you in case you're working on a stubborn heater, too. The thermocouple works great. After about 10 seconds of pilot light I can go full send with the gas.

It didn't work for our Tabletop propane heater. It wasn't long enough.
This just wasn't long enough for our domed tabletop propane patio heater. I'm not sure the description even said that it would work for that type of item. We just took a chance, but it didn't work for us. That does not mean it won't work for what it is designed to be used for.

This was an exact replacement. The tilt switch and thermocouple installed easily and the heater fired up immediately when the parts were replaced.

I'd buy it again. Hopefully this won't be necessary.

Choose the right size copper wire
Looks high quality but the copper conductors are not long enough for my heater. I am hoping that there is another choice. Will have to return this.
