Doesn't report its temperature correctly
Seems to work fine. The only issue I have is that it doesn't report its temperature correctly to any of the apps I have that measure internal temperatures, it always reports a temperature of 40°C. Not sure if this is a problem or not, time will tell. So knocked down by a star.

Does what it's supposed to do.
Very cheap SSD but so far equally as good as much more expensive drives brought previously. I would recommend.

Thanks. This drive working fine.
My Old SSD failed on MacBook Pro (2015), so had to buy this one as compatible. Mac could not see it straight away so had to use USB memory card to install original software on it to start my Mac operating. After that I was able to see the new drive in the disk utility. I used another usb memory card with latest software to install it on the new drive through optional mode when restarting computer holding button Alt. I had to use this way as installing latest software after installing original one was not possible.

Great storage solution for any application upgrade.
I was looking for a higher capacity SSD drive for gaming and general storage use and came across the Timetec brand. I've not really had any experience so just bought this 1TB drive from Amazon. Fairly easy to install by just replacing the existing 250GB drive and can still use this drive with a PCIe to SATA III card. Overall it's a good drive and fairly robust. It could have come with better instructions and screws SATA cable etc, but would have probably pushed up the price. Let's see how the drive performs over the long term. Speed is quite good too.
