This thing is MAGIC.
I seriously cannot believe how well this worked (and also feel totally guilty for not discovering it sooner!) My little guy Baxter (a curly haired rapscallion of a Cavapoo) was dealing with an eye injury and was overdue for a grooming BEFORE the doc said he couldn’t be bathed/groomed until he healed, but the poor guy was getting little matted clumps all over—felt like something had to be done. I originally bought a wider (and much more expensive!) one that did nothing—but took a chance and gave this one a try and it is AMAZING. I’m not entirely sure how it works—but somehow gently rakes through the knots like they aren’t even there and puts Baxter right to sleep he finds it so relaxing! I’m not in the least bit worried about pulling/cutting/hurting him with it—he even scootches around to make sure I have access to all of the angles! Highly recommend for any doodle/doodle-adjacent pups!

Matted fur removal
Did a good job at removing matted fur from my dogs thick coat but it wasn’t as gentle as I expected from it’s description.

A tool that actually works as advertised. Wonderful.
Wonderful. My cat had gotten into something as had three bad mats on his back. The comb loosened and removed them without too much fuss or argument with the cat.

It’s ok but not a miracle product
It is ok but doesn’t cut through knots and tangles as easily as I hoped. The blades are not very sharp so it requires a good bit of tugging and pulling before the mat is removed. Our furminator works better.

Easy and quick!
So easy to use, for owner and pet! My dog never blinks an eye when I have to detangle the fur behind her ears, which is a big improvement over previous methods and tools. Highly recommended for long haired pets!

Don’t waste your money
Unless you are a left-handed person do not even bother purchasing this. I was so disappointed in this tool. It does not do anything that it said it was going to do. It has hooks that pull the hair out of your pet. And if you’re right handed like I am, you can’t get it to work properly.
