Stores multiple large games, however most games need faster processing than what this can provide. States Xbox compatible but constantly need to move games back and forth if they need faster processing. However, this does make downloading faster.

Great product that works very well. I have been using this product for a year or so and I am happy with it. I have managed to store a lot of games onto it with no problems and everything has been up to par. I will say it is helpful and wise to turn off your external hard drive if you are going to be unplugging your ps4 or ps5. Go to Settings > Storage. Select USB Extended Storage > Safely Remove from PS5. Disconnect the USB extended storage from your PS5 console. FOR PS4: Go to Settings > Devices > USB Storage Devices Select Stop. The reason it is important to do this is because if you do not turn off the device before unplugging system and device it risks the data being lost/corrupted. Pros: Holds very many games ( Depending on game GB size anywhere from 75-150 games perhaps) Loads PS4 games seamlessly Keeps everything organized Can hold PS4 & PS5 games Priced reasonably Cons: You can't play PS5 games directly from this device PS5 games must be transferred back to console storage or internal solid state drive in order to be played

I bought it for backups. On Arch Linux / Windows 10 plug and play, no drivers needed. Speeds are 88~90mb on both OS. If you're looking for something to work out of the box and portable, this is the right one for you.

These external drives are my all-time favorite. I have been buying them for a few years now, - not necessarily for gaming, but to store a large amount of heavy graphic files and for their high-speed upload ability. And, they never failed me. So these are the only ones I use now, and when I saw that they came out with the pink version (only had the blck ones before), - I could not resist. The most adorable addition to my collection,beautiful color (just like pictured), and even larger capability. What not to love?

I love this hard drive, 4tb of storage is all you'll ever need! I was able to backup my entire game collection on this with ease, and it was super easy to set up on my Xbox one! runs games great with no performance lose! and some time my games even loaded fast on this drive! totally worth the money
