Queen of Hearts Costume for Adults, Women's Standard

This dress is gorgeous. After reading the comments I was a little hesitant to purchase it, but I am so glad that I went ahead and did it. You just can't beat the price for the standard size. When opening it up I was super careful because I read that it was a "glitter factory", not the case for mine at all. None of the glitter came tumbling off. I examined the dress and everything was in place and as it should have been made. The quality is terrific. I placed a black cincher that I already had under the one that was provided, because it did fit a little loose on its own, and it worked wonderfully. After I had it all put together I did not want to take it off. I LOVE this costume and can not wait to wear it with my family's Alice in Wonderland themed costumes next year.

This was one of the best costumes I've ever had. It was comfortable and long enough - I'm 5' 6" with long legs and a lot of times, clothes are too short. This was just the right length even with a pair of heels on. It was pretty well made for a Halloween costume. One thing which I was glad I noticed before I left the house, is the white panel in the front of the dress is kind of see-through. As long as you wear a slip or leggings, it's fine. The rest of the costume is nice quality fabric for a costume. But the corset around the waist didn't stay in the right place and I was afraid to pull the straps too tight because I didn't want to rip them - it ties like an apron.

Product was cute, but had to return as the seam on the chest area did not line up correctly and made the entire costume off center. Also threads on the sleeves were coming undone upon opening. Did not try on so I do not know about size and fit. Quality felt really nice though.

Small for size. I ordered an XL I’m 5”8 and 175lbs. I usually wear pants size 10 and the XL was VERY TIGHT around the rib/bust area. It was actually a little painful as the material in that area has no give. However, it’s made well and looks great! Wish I could’ve worn it for Halloween.

I am very happy with this costume. I do have to add a little top for 'cover up' as I am using this costume for a themed event at work in a few weeks. Overall a well made elegant nice costume. I have a real belt that stretches and really holds you in, and will wear it under the 'belt' that comes with the costume (that one does not actually hold you in), so my belt will actually cinch in my waist. The collar stands up ok, but thinking of adding a sprits of sugar and water to make it (the collar) more starched, so it stays up easily (ironed on very carefully)... but over all a very gorgeous costume. I know I will get lot's of wonderful comments in this outfit at work. Plus I have a very pretty tiara that fits it really well. Oh, you will have to wear a long slip, as the front panel is very see through. I still love it!!!

I really am happy with this dress. I don't like the corset though, it is kinda cheap and doesn't stay in place well. I might go without or just try to find another to go over it. It looks fine without it though. I read a couple of reviews before I bought it stating it was small, and I just don't see that. Someone said they are an 8-10 and it wouldn't fit a larger girl. Well, after 3 kids I use to be an 8 but usually go 10-12 for dresses now and can say it fits me wonderfully and would fit me at an 8 and could probably fit a 14 just fine just like they say. I also don't think you need to be terribly "busty" as the other reviews read. This fits me wonderfully everywhere, I am wearing 4" queen of hearts heels with it and it is the perfect height. I would think it would be a little long for me if I did not have the heels though. I am 5'4. Basically all around I like the dress for the price it is perfect, just the corset is kinda crumby. 8 years later this dress is still in good shape. I still use it as a last minute costume!

When I pulled the dress out of the package and saw all the loose glitter on the heart print I should have immediately just folded it back up and put it back in the bag. Instead I tried it on just for fun, and red glitter got everywhere! I am returning it based on that fact alone, but even if there was no glitter I would return it. The cut of the waist (with or without the belt/corset) is really unflattering. Also, I live in Phoenix where the October temperatures are still pretty warm, and the combination of itchy tulle and velvet skirt/sleeves would make this dress too heavy and uncomfortable to wear here for Halloween. Also note: this costume contains just the dress -- no crown or scepter. The front of the dress is pretty see-through and you'd need to wear a slip with it to avoid giving everyone a show.

I loved this costume. I searched high and low for a tasteful Queen of Hearts costume and found it here. I was pleasantly surprised at the price for the quality. It doesn't have that "cheap it will fall apart any minute" feel to it at all. The first time I wore it to an amusement park, I had two little girls come up to me and ask if they could take a picture with me.Too cute. As far as the fit, its just to about a size 14, which I was at the time. Perhaps even a 16 if one has very small arms and midsection. The full length was just a little bit too long (I'm 5'6" and wore it with flats), but with a one inch heel shoe it should be perfect. I was afraid that the decolletage area would hang too low, but it doesn't. All the white portions on the costume are sheer, but I wore it with black tights so nothing peeked through.

This dress was actually pretty great quality! Much better than expected for the price and arrived the same day I ordered it! Fits size 14 perfectly and very flattering.

I wear a size 8 usually and it fit well (not sure if it would stretch to a 12+...). The skirt is a bit short but I'm 5'11 so that's to be expected. As other people say the "corset" is kind of useless. You tie the straps and they are super long so just kind of odd looking. I actually used a corset I already owned and liked that a lot more. You'll definitely want to iron the collar. I just wore it down because it creased in the package and I hadn't ironed it, and I thought it looked fine. Also, if you have a crinoline to wear under it I think that would be better. Because of the corset and needing a crinoline I'd just give four stars but overall I'm very happy.
