Fairly straightforward to replace broken mechanism. Garage door now up and running.

This is the second review I've done on this item. My first review was brilliant about it but sadly the item failed after 12 months. This may be just a one off but only time will tell. Just by way of comparison, the original component lasted 20 years before failing. Fortunalely the item is cheap enough and easy enough to replace for me to tolerate a product life of 12 months when compared with the cost of a complete garage door opener replacement. Nevertheless, I would wish and hope it lasts a lot longer of 12 months.

Our old one broke and we purchased this as a replacement and it works perfectly. The installation was fairly easy and the parts provided matched the old style. So it fit perfect.

Annehmbare Lieferzeit. Eingebaut, funktioniert tadellos.

This fit a 2004 Craftsman 1/2hp opener. Worked great. All components were included plus some that I didn’t need or use. Great value.

Lo pude adaptar a mi motor merik 511, el mio era de doble engrane (en la flecha) pero pude adaptar este kit, solo modifiqué los bordes del seguro de plastico que tenía el final de la flecha para que el borde no hiciera fricción con otro engranaje plastico y resultó perfecto (el anterior era de punta negra, fina y este es punta gruesa con final blanco). Espero que tenga mucha durabilidad el kit en general. Me convencí de adquirir este porque es de valero (dura más años que el de buje).
