This is way too expensive to be used generically in recipes where the other ingredients overwhelm its nuanced quality. Keep it simple. Use with a very high quality olive oil.

My partner is an excellent cook and this is the only sherry vinegar he likes to use. I think it is delicious too and a great price for a bottle that lasts us 4-5 months at a time.We use this for finishing and not for cooking - i.e. we add this to finished dishes like soups, stews, chili, sauces. He also adds it to cold dressings, especially if they contain citrus.

This is the 3rd time I have purchased this vinegar. I add it to salad dressing and it gives a nice nutty flavor. I also add it when I am sautéing vegetables like shaved brussel sprouts or spinach to cut the richness of the oils or butter used to sauté. This is a nice addition to your vinegar stash.

My third purchase. This special vinegar brings my gazpacho to life.

I’ve used and loved this vinegar for years, but this is the first time I’ve bought it here. The cork in the bottle immediately crumbled and I had to use a corkscrew to get it out. The spout that came with it doesn’t look like the one that’s usually included and it would not even fit in the bottle at all, so was useless.

Great taste and lighter alternative to aged balsamic vinegar.
