Great Epson Black ink Cartridge easy install fast Shipping Exellent Quality! Even standard size w proper print settings lasts a while. I didn't know that they only came partially filled in the extra large ones have more ink in them! Duh! So I just purchased the pack that has the extra large multi-pack and colors and in Black it's a $148! But it's worth the price since all of them are extra large cartridges well they're filled more than the same size and they fit in the printer. It's definitely worth the price to buy from Epson for your Epson printer! I just found out that Epson will do firmware updates and it might reject aftermarket remanufactured ink cartridges. And remanufactured ink cartridges may not use the quality ink that Epson does and it can clog your Epson printer and cause lots of problems more headaches than it's worth from customer reviews so I'm going to stick with Epson ain't even though it's more expensive to save myself any problems or hassle just as user reviews state and even Epson itself states that and I wanted to double-check to make sure it's not a sales gimmick and it's not.

Great ink, forced to buy the Brand or the printer wont work. Its over priced and annoying.

It’s a black ink cartridge! It fairly simple it’s a black cartridge! It does what it’s supposed to do ! When it’s empty , you order a new one !!

I have learned from past experience that it is wise to buy genuine Epson ink. I tried some 3rd party knockoff ink and the printer did not care for them. They were half the price of genuine Epson cartridges. It would have been a bargain if they would have worked, but unfortunately, they did not. The printer refused to run after they were installed. I purchased a set of genuine Epson cartridges and installed them. The rest is history. You get what you pay for. These new cartridges perform flawlessly and the print quality is first rate. I will never make that mistake again.

Stick with official Epson brand ink. It's expensive, but Printer firmware updates are very likely to cause the printer to reject any 3rd-party ink cartridges, completely wasting whatever ink is in them at the time. The ink itself worked fine, although I haven't tested printing color photographs on photographic paper. Plain black text on white bond was crisp and clear. Color printing (from video game screen captures on a 1080p display) on plain white bond paper seems to work acceptably well. Ink seems to dry quite quickly on plain white bond, no problems with consecutively printed pages causing any smearing or smudging.

It's oem ink, so it works well and produces good images. I do find than Amazon generally has the best price on these particular cartridges, and often has them available when other retailers are out of stock. Still expensive though- but that's the game printer makers make you play, so it is what it is. I personally switched to laser printer 10 years ago because I couldn't stand the price of ink. While toner cartridges are much more expensive, they have significantly higher capacity and don't dry out the way ink does if you don't use the printer for a while. I buy these for my parents, and I stick with the standard capacity vs the larger ones because they just don't print that much, and the cartridges end up drying out rather than running out, so the higher capacity is just wasted.

The ink was ok. Mind you the price is the same Staples so I don’t see a deal by shopping here for ink. I will head to my local store. Convenience doesn’t always work if you aren’t saving money.
