Wouldn't younger kids just say what they see in the picture?

I would've thought the same thing, but we play this game with our 4 & 5 yr old daughters and it is very fun and entertaining. They're silly renditions make for endless laughs on family game night. Hope this helps.

Is this too simple for an 8yr old and a 6 yr old?

My almost 9 year old granddaughter and my 7 1/2 year old grandson still love it. We adults also play it. It should be fine for your 8 and 6 year old!

Is this played with teams or individual players? We have a family of 3, so am wondering if we could make it work for us.

You can play however you want to. My 4 year old and 8 year old love this game.
