HISEA Kids Chest Waders with Boots, Youth Waterproof Fishing Wader, PVC Waders for Toddler Children with Reflect Safety Band

We have ordered multiple pairs of the HiSea kids waders since at least 2022 for use during classroom field trips in conjunction with Trout Unlimited’s Trout in the Classroom (TIC) program. Students raise trout from eggs or hatchlings in the classroom and in spring they release them in approved streams. The waders allow students to have a more direct connection to the release and also do other activities while staying safe. Our groups can range from kindergarten to high schoolers and/or special ed. These are quick drying which is highly important when we need to use them back to back days. Even if a kid accidentally (or intentionally) falls in and gets water inside the waders we can hang them up overnight and they will be ready the next day. They are holding up well and are a big improvement over the canvas covered rubber waders that we started with. Kids love the soft lightweight texture compared to heavier choices and younger ages have an easier time getting them on and off without adult help. We like the blue color as it gives more visibility to where students are for chaperones and staff to keep track of in a group setting. Another plus is it’s attractive in photos for the parents and kids. I only have a couple photos to share but you can see how the blue pops against natural settings compared to the green. Color is a personal preference and if you’re buying just for one kid to fish you may prefer the traditional green. The new updated version is even better. The buckles are wider. The upper strap has a stop sewn into it to prevent the loss of the snap buckle. They use European sizes which avoids confusion between men’s, women’s, girls, boys, and toddlers. Our first experience trying to buy kid waders was getting a brand that would fit an adult female in height but had child sized feet! These are actually kid sized - from feet to chest! We keep buying this brand as we replace old inventory. It’s a definite recommendation if you’re looking for child sized waders.

This purchase was perfect! It fit just right, retained waterproof while working in a creek for several hours!

I bought these for my daughter to go razor clamming for the first time and they worked great! We did all the measurements for the sizing and everything fit exactly as it should. She stayed dry and comfy and warm on those night digs and was by far the most stylish on the beach. So far they haven't leaked at all and they have taken the abuse, we will see what happens come first of the year as we have a couple more digs to do. Great purchase for kids though, they grow out of stuff so fast that you don't want to spend a fortune and these are the solution. They do have lifetime warranty though so we will see if it will make it through both my kids haha

Amazing product. Fits well. Definitely waterproof. We ordered the 3-4 and it fits my 3 year old girl perfectly. Her confidence on the water is growing each day. Great value!!

I purchased these for my 9 year old son. He is 4ft 7in and normally wears a size 4.5-5 shoe. The product page says to measure rather than go by shoe size. I did this. By his measurements the 8-9 would be the correct size, so I ordered a 10-11 big kid so he would have some room to grow into them. When I received them I could tell just by looking at them that they were small. I measured the boot and it was nowhere near the measurement on the size chart from the product page. The page indicates the “insole” is 9.5 inches. The outside measurement of the boot was not even 9 inches. I went through the replacement process thinking maybe they sent me the wrong pair but nope the second pair was the same size. My son is able squeeze his feet into them but they are uncomfortable and very difficult to get on/off. There is no room for thick socks or room to grow. I kept the original pair for now and am sending the replacement back. I guess I will consider the $30 ok for the few times he will be able to use them. On the positive side and the reason for the 4 star rating, the boots do seem well constructed, did not leak and are reasonably priced.

Super cute! Easy to put on, no leakage, seems to dry well and keep you warm while you’re in the river!

Well-made, durable. We’ve hiked through woods and worn them in water several times and no leaks! All belt loops are reinforced and there are 2 waterproof pouches (one outside and the other inside). I purchased these waders for both of my granddaughters, ages 3 and 7. I did have to return the first pairs I ordered due to being way too big. My 3 yr old wears a 4 but I had to get the 2T/3T for her. My 7 yr old (pictured) wears a size 7-8, but I had to get the 5/6 for her.

UPDATE: changed my review from 3 to 5 stars because of hisea’s great customer service. the team got back to me promptly and offered a full amazon refund for the waders. i was pleasantly surprised at how quick and painless the experience was. thank you! ——— Fit was good for a size S adult and the product is very functional, but did not come with a wader belt, which is strange because the instructions emphasize the importance of wearing a wader belt for safety reasons. In January 2024, I emailed customer service and they said they would ship me one but I did not receive one. I emailed them again in November 2024 to see if they will ship me one, since it was not in my box and too late to return on Amazon

The waders are packed neatly into a branded box and first impressions are of how good quality they are manufactured to, they look stylish as far as waders go! the material is nice and thick, the seams are all taped inside as you’d expect, I own waders and have spend over £100 on them and these ones can give them a run for their money, They come with clear instructions inside, a wader hanging belt to dry them out, a belt and a repair kit also! They are spacious and pull in well around my sons torso and shoulders, lots of room to grow in these, there are internal and external chest pockets also. We trialled them in very poor rain conditions and went thigh deep into the local river for a spot of fishing as soon as we received them with no signs of leakage and decent grip on the soles. Overall we are very happy with these and highly recommend.

This is a really nice set of chest waders, would fit a child or very petite adult. The boots are really quite heavy and sturdy and the waders even come with a repair patch kit.

these fitted so well. the boots are really comfortable. fishing with my son is now amazing. The last let I bought were a bit more expensive but nowhere near as good. These really are so well made.

My son loves the river and loves wading, catching minnows and playing around in the water while we fish. These waders were for ages 10/11 and my son is on the tall side for a 9 year old. The waders themselves are a good length for my son, and after seeing him with them on I would not have wanted the smaller size. However, if he had been average height I believe the smaller size would have been a good size. I was a bit concerned about the size of the wellies attached to the waders, they say they are a size four however my son is a size 5. Trying them on we discovered that the wellies fit well and will still allow for some growth, but not are not the size I would have expected for a child of 10-11 The waders are well put together and all the seams and stitched areas are taped with thick flexible, almost rubber like, clear material. After several uses they have no leaks and no damage to any of the seams or areas where the legs rub when my son walks. These are great quality and have allowed my son a bit more freedom in the water with us.

The quality is very reasonable. The fit is snug but not uncomfortable. Seams are all well done to make it water tight. There is a small bag included to repair any holes. Also included are straps for waist and for shoulders. The lining makes it quite warm to wear. My boy has tried it once and could not wait for me to take him back to water again. Recommended.
