How high is the cup without the lid? I want one to fit under our coffee machine.

I use it with my Tassimo with the drip tray out. With the lid off it stands 14.5cm. Hope this helps.

Is it safe to put it in the bag when full or it's gonna leak?

What is the base diameter?

Approx. 74mm with the very bottom of the base being smaller at 65mm. The size drop is sudden so overall it would be around 74mm to fit any cup holder.

I have a Contigo autoseal and my tea tastes very metallic from it. Is that the same with this version?

I've noticed no residual taste with the stainless steel version when drinking coffee or red Bush tea.
