Pursue Truth, Defend Liberty
To pursue truth efficiently you need a copy of the Constitution of the United States and this book. This book makes it so much easier because you have a good guide with accurate, concise, helpful information. It is a guide that gives you a robust procedure to study and learn the Bill of Rights. Itโs more than an interpretation of the Bill of Rights The author guides you along and empowers you to learn and interpret it for yourself. It also has a handy Glossary in the back, defining some of the unclear words for you. It was an invaluable find for me and with the authors guidance, I was able to learn so much information so fast that I amazed myself. I finished the book with a clear understanding of the Bill of Rights that I have never had before. The book held my attention and I really enjoyed the study. I am now going through it again and outlining the information. I highly recommend the book to you. Mark Golish

This little book is a goldmine!
The author has explained The Bill if Rights in a way that is easy to understand. The book gives history behind these explanations and even has a glossary (44 pages) at the end of the book for those of us that are unsure of meanings of some words or terms such as amendment, Attorney General, arbitrary and so on. I will purchase more for my grandkids.

Good but Incomplete - No commentary on 3rd, 6th, 7th or 10th Ammendments
The approach of this book is spot on. It is easy to read, brings in a good balance of historical references and contains some reasonable commentary (yes that means opinion). I found it very accessible and is a worthy read for anyone that wants to learn more about the BoR and their historical context. I see several โone starโ reviews to this book that seem to imply that the book leans to the right. Several reviews center on what they believe to be a false interpretation of the second amendment and one review even calls it โoriginalist trashโ. From someone who has studied the 2nd Amendment extensively, including a study of hundreds of years of Supreme Court rulings on the matter, I can tell you that Mr. Patrickโs commentary and โopinionsโ on the matter does in fact hold up against historical scrutiny. For me though, my one complaint is that he doesnโt write something for every amendment! This book contains no commentary for the 3rd, 6th, 7th or 10th which I find somewhat inexcusable. Yes, the 3rd may not be applicable today but the reasons for it further underscores the tyrannical experiences of early Americans and highlights the importantance of individual rights relative to the government. Itโs still a worthwhile book to read and recommend but Mr. Stewart finish your homework!

Excellent in Every Way!
Beautifully written, constructed and full of useful information. A textbook that's more than a textbook. Even though I only bought the Kindle edition, I'll be picking up the paperback soon. I'm the daughter of a naturalized citizen from Japan. "This country is a miracle." That's what my late mother thought she thought in 1953 when she first set foot here. I work at the polls in her memory. I bought this book (Kindle) in her memory. I still remember those evenings with a babysitter because Mom was taking her English and Citizenship classes at George Washington High School in San Francisco. Sean Patrick's book took me back to those days when everyone helped her to study. Even me. She treasured her citizenship papers which she received in 1958 at the old Federal Building in San Francisco. All of her studying paid off. Most of her books have been lost so Sean's book (in my IPad and IPhone) will be something I can read and remind myself of what a jewel she was and what GREAT country America is.

I really love this book and it gives a lot knowledge about things that we never knew. I am still at the beginning of this book and already love it. I also would love to check this writer other books because this is the first I buy a book that doesn't have any fake information in it and itโs worth every penny.

Itโs a necessary book for Western civilisation survival
Absolutely necessary to read, it present the grounds, explains ideas in context, on which Americas constitution was built. In our age, when freedom of speech is dragged all the time, when censorship crosses all the sacred ideas of Freedom, this is necessary book to have and remind yourself from time to time. America should remember own history and remain Land of Free, otherwise it will succumb to decline provoked by deliberately destabilising efforts of enemy forces.
