Easy installation and perfect for my use
Our water heater is about 90 feet from the kitchen sink. My wife was tired of wasting a couple gallons of water waiting for warm water to reach the kitchen so I started searching. Our plumbing (on a house built in 1938) was not especially accessible but cutting the copper with a sawzall and using sharkbite fittings (the plumbing went through the wall to wall-mounted fixtures) routed the hot water line under the sink. I put a bypass valve inline and valves on the in and out lines in case I need to shut the water to this heater off sometime for whatever reason. This was all hot water line so the supply line went in the cold side and the out line went back into the wall up to the fixture. The morning after installation, with the thermostat on max, It took one second to get very hot water (I turned it down) to the faucet. My wife was thrilled. On a normal bit of plumbing, with the lines under the sink, I could have been done in much less time and with much less PEX pipe but it worked out well. This unit won the reviews war. I'll update later if there are problems but it's a nice, neat installation. We have to turn it off when we run the dishwasher as they are both on the same breaker but this 2-gallon unit will heat water from cold to hot in a very short time.

Great unit, no installation hoses included
Water heater is nice and works perfectly. Installation varies based on existing plumbing but they should really tell you in description that you will need to go buy hoses & adaptors. Nothing is included and there are no direction regarding installation.

Compact , quick installation and adjustable settings
This thing is awesome. We use it for our business sink where a large heater just wastes energy as well as causes overload with other equipment. This is perfect and sits below the sink. Also in winter the water is very cold , and we want to make it bearable so we have a settings choice or hot or just warm and any setting in the middle. Very convenient . It's been now few months and hopefully it lasts for years to come... Sometimes to save energy we just turn it on just for 10 mins in the morning and as we just use it only to wash hands and couple glasses or so, you don't even need it to be plugged in all day. It keeps the water warm inside for the whole day.

Avoid this brand. No support.
Edit: 4/6/23 so it's been 6 months and the water heater is leaking a thick rusty fluid from the seal around the pressure relief valve. This leads me to worry that the valve is not functioning correctly and they're is something wrong inside the unit. Maintenance should be performed yearly to clean water heaters but this thing barely made it 6 months. Support is unhelpful and "passes the buck." Its an ok heater. I only get about 2 Gal of hot water from the 2.5 model before the water becomes cool. This is likely due to the mixing of the water in the tank. Cord is SUPER short. The water connections were badly corroded. Had to clean thoroughly. The fittings must be extremely tight to avoid any leaks. Overall, good for our laundry sink. I do wish I would have gotten the 4 gal model in retrospect but our space is limited.

Perfect little booster, going on 8 months now
I have on demand tankless water heater for whole house. It wastes a large amount of water before getting hot enough at kitchen sink. Tried the small 2 gallon electric hot water in the past but found the elements were constantly burning out. This little tank puts out ample heat for the few minutes that we require for washing dishes etc. It does struggle after a few minutes with its 120 volt heater and because our well water is very cold (8 degrees C ) but covers the time it takes the main on-demand water to reach the tap. 8 months so far and doing well.

It works well enough
I purchased a 2.5 and 6 gallon for use on a boat powered by inverter and solar. The 2.5 takes about 6 minutes to heat, and so you can get hot sink water for about 120 watts, decent for this setup on a boat by turning it on only when needed. Proximity to the outlet reduces fresh water use, also important on a boat. This key flaw seems to be the heat gets diluted as the tank fills with fresh water during use, so in short order you get luke-warm water rather than hot. This is more noticeable in the 2.5 gallon than the 6, which is used for the shower. Still, the temperature does not seem constant during an average shower. Overall well designed and a fraction of the cost of a marine water heater, so overall a good rating and I would recommend these units for this purpose.

Clean looking and efficient. Should have done this a long time ago!
It saves water A LOT ,my main hot water heater is far from the kitchen . Seams to be very efficient so far.

Nice to have quick hot water. Final heated temperature varies and is inconsistent.
It's so nice having hot water within a second or two of turning on the hot tap in the kitchen. There is about 32 feet of pipe from the main tank to the tap, and prior to this, I had to run the hot water for more than a minute before I got hot water. The tank was installed on the basement wall, directly below the kitchen sink and dishwasher. The tank was installed inline with the hot water line that supplies the kitchen sink and the dishwasher. That way I get hot water right away for both the sink and the dishwasher, and if I want to run it longer than the small tank capacity, the main tank will be filling this tank with hot water. The only thing I found was that the temperature of the water, after it has heated up, reached it's set temperature, and the thermostat has shut the heater off; the water temperature was inconsistent and varied by 8-10 degrees. The difference was enough to get the water to uncomfortably hot temperatures the first time you used it one day, and hot but not too hot the first time you used it the next day.

not so good
I've had experience with 3 of these units.2 have failed. The warranty and company is good. The product...not so much. The 2.5 gallon unit will 1/2 fill 1 small sink. Even then the water is lukewarm. So not really a 2.5 tank as advertised.I think the water temp sensor is too high so only half the tank heats. Having a point-of-use heater is awesome. I just won't recommend this company's products.
