Product arrived 24hours after ordering. Bars seem to be good quality extruded aluminium, and the clamps fit nicely on the raised roof rails of the 2019 VW Golf estate. The clamps slide on the rear of the rails and there are two slits cut into the recess of the aluminium section for some fixing screws which secure the rails to the clamps and stop any lateral movement of the bars. These fixing screws are said to be optional in the instructions, but would seem to be a good idea. The rails on the golf are spaced slightly wider on the front of the car than the rear. The two optional fixings screws are easily accessible on the front of the car and the fits is absolutely adequate. The rear of the car is slighlty narrower, and the fixing screws are not visilbe. However after tightening the clamps the bar is secure. But if your really pull on it there is some very slight movement. I made the slits in the bar slightly longer so the screws holes were visible and the bars are very secure. Making the slits longer is quite simple. Attach the clamps to roof rail without the bar and measure the distance between the fixing holes. Transfer the gap required to the roof rails, add 10mm for tolerance, and drill holes in the centre of the bar and cut out the waste. I used a 6.5mm Drill bit. Junior hack saw blade, and a standard file to make the changes. It took appoximately 10 minutes to extend the slits. Getting the tools out and writing this review to longer. The bars protrude over the sides of the car, and could easily bee trimmed with a mitre saw if a flush fitting was required. I suspect the longer bars would happily be accomodated on a smaller car if you wanted to carry wide sheet goods. I suspect its the same bars , just slightly longer, and the same clamps.

Fitted to a 2025 VW T-Roc. Easy enough, took around 20 mins. Just bear in mind a sunroof won’t fully open.

bought for VW T-ROC. Fits well. Strong. You can't just unlock it and whip it off the rails though, you still need the Allen key to unscrew the cross rail to loosen it after unlocking. Used it a few times and does the job well. Does add to noise level of course.

I didn’t want to review until I’d used these properly. Fitting was easy, I did this quickly and it was just very simple. Installed with ease also. We used these on a week away, family of 4, massive roof box loaded up. They held perfectly. They’re not noisy (I used the rubber things provided). They’re strong, sturdy and lasted on our 4.5 hour journey there and 5.5 hour journey back, with driving in between. I would definitely recommend them. At this price, they are also an absolute bargain. I prefer them to my old Thule ones.

First I was a bit confused when I got it, you need a bit DIY to actually fit with the rubber noise reducer but all in all were also surprised it's genuinely big and sturdy, perfect fit, perfect instruction, locking one side but then it's holding the position perfectly. I chose the wider cause it give more versatility for me and I can say it was a great choice, recommend to everyone but keep in mind you need some DIY skills to fit

Easy to install and fit snuggly on our Traverse. Provide stability for our cargo box. The stealership wanted $300 and these were less than $70 and doing great. Money well spent!

Es un producto que sorprende por su robustez y estética. Yo las he montado en un Leap motor C10 que tiene el techo de cristal y quedan perfectamente y he puesto un cofre de techo marca Thule sin ningún problema por lo que la calidad precio me parece muy buena ya que en otras marcas valen más del doble así que lo recomiendo sin problema solo tener en cuenta poner la goma que cierra la ranura de la parte baja que tendréis que cortar antes de meter las patas en mi caso no la puse y por no desmontarlo todo así quedó, espero que no haga ruido con el viento. Así que si buscas unas barras de techo económicas y fuertes con un buen agarre estás son las tuyas

Toller, sehr preiswerter Dachgepäckträger Wir haben diesen Träger für unsere Skandinavien-Rundreise auf unseren Touran (Bj. 2019) montiert und darauf mittels Nutenstein-Schrauben eine große bzw. sehr lange Kamei-Dachbox befestigt, um zwei SUP-Sets mitnehmen zu können. Die Montage erwies sich als kinderleicht, die Fahrten auf Autobahnen und Landstraßen sind bisher vollkommen unproblematisch verlaufen. Ab ca. 120 km/h hört man den Träger auch ohne Dachbox etwas pfeifen, aber in Skandinavien ist das Tempolimit ohnehin niedriger. Der Träger wirkt auf mich nach ca. 700 gefahrenen Kilometern sehr stabil: Für den Preis also eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung ;)

Je cherchais des barres de toit a monter sur mon ford ranger (double cabine de 2017). Je ne voulais pas y mettre trop cher, c’est pour un usage tres ponctuel. J’ai d’abord pensé « occasion », et j’ai regardé sur un site de petites annonces bien connu. Ne trouvant pas mon bonheur j’ai regardé sur internet, et les sites de centre autos. Puis je suis tombé sur celles ci, a un prix imbattable 👍🏻👍🏻 Reçues en un temps record, et montage dans la foulée. Les barres semblent de bonne qualité, et bien finies. Je ne les ai pas encore utilisées par contre. La longueur de 135cm est parfaitement adaptée a mon ranger. Le montage est plutôt simple, RAS. En guise de sécurité antivol, il y a une petite clé qui obture ou non l’accès a la vis de montage. Je suis très content de mon achat.
