Best splitting axe I have ever owned! I was on the fence between this one and the Wetterling Back Country one that is a little smaller. I went with this one because I really needed a splitting axe. Very happy I did. Makes a surprising difference in what you can split. I have always use cheap axes and often been frustrated. This axe has just cruised through wood that has made me wonder why I didn't do this years ago!

I bought this as a christmas present for my husband and he LOVES it. Not cheap but well worth the $$$!
