Re-useable. These are quite beneficial particularly when someone with dementia is having a troublesome day. When they can’t complete that day, they can come back to it next day at a fresh. I have used many colour books, number related specifically for this cruel illness and this is by far the best. Why? Why because the drawings have been made relatively easy to complete and not too distracting for someone with this illness to not attempt. You simply dip the brush into water and brush onto the sheets for the colour to start to appear. There are five sheets in total in the pack. When wet the sheet comes to life with gentle colours for someone with dementia. Later when you are onto some other part of the day these sheets dry out and the outline of the drawing remains whilst the rest dissapears - making it reusable for another day to try again and again etc. Anyone that is anyone knows with this illness if you find something that works to bring some joy, however brief to someone locked in with Alzheimer’s then you do like to repeat to allow those emotions to arrive again when painting again. This person I am using these with, was an artist who used brushes enjoyed art classes etc. Highly recommended these and the personal reflection from the inventor within the pack that gives insight on how this pack came about whilst sharing their journey watching a loved one who is ill with disease.

Really liked this set and it was a well priced gift for a relative with dementia. A little disappointing that no paintbrush is included, this made it difficult to do the activity on Christmas morning. That said the pictures were good and the skill level was as advertised - it was enjoyable to ‘paint’ with them.

My mum loves this. It has provided an opportunity for her to sit calmly to paint the pictures. She gets very anxious and this was the first time, in a long time, that we saw her sitting happily for over half an hour to carefully paint the rose picture. She was so happy with the result and felt like she’d really achieved something. It was good to see her calm, relaxed and happy. It’s a shame it doesn’t come with a paintbrush as we didn’t realise this and then had to go and look for brushes. Very pleased with this product.

El producto es bueno,dibujos bonitos y calidad pero no es economico mas cuando compras varios. Facil de hacer.Les ilusiona y anima.Crea una interacion con el cuidador. Gracias

These painting pages are so great, I just ordered a 3rd set to have new and different pictures to paint. Our family member wants to have more to do, but she can’t walk, stand, get up by herself, etc. she loves working on these and is excited to show us when she finishes. At times she thinks it’s her painting and other times she knows it’s just water, but she’s so happy with the activity either way. As others said, they don’t come with a brush so remember to order some inexpensive brush.

I use these color mats as an activity with memory care residents and it truly keeps them them engaged especially for lower function abilities. They are of high quality with vivid colors and can be used over and over again. I highly recommend the product and will be purchasing some more sets soon.

After a visit with my mother I noticed that she wanted to try independent activities but struggled to complete things like word searches. I saw these more adult geared paint with water and had to buy them. I thought the price was steep for 5 pictures but bought them anyway. I now realize that the pictures are re-useable which is amazing. The price makes sense now and my mom is beyond thrilled with a simple activity she can enjoy.
