Does the ink bleed through notebook paper?

No, the ink does not bleed through paper.

Are these the same pens that are included with the RocketBooks?

I don't know. I use these pens to mark fabric. You can put the fabric in the dryer and the heat will make the marks disappear or wash in warm water, put in dryer and they are gone also. I love them.

Does the ink ever become permanent--or will it always remain erasable via eraser and/or heat?

The ink will disappear when it is exposed to a temperature above 140°F and it will reappear when exposed temperate below 14°F. You can bring the ink back by placing it in thew freezer.

Before i open this pack, can someone tell me how to erase? i'm looking at the pens and i don't see/feel an eraser. does it not come with one?

the rubber end is the eraser.it generates heat which erases the thermal ink. (you can put it in the freezer and it will re-appear.)
