Great value for a top flight product
These are directly comparable to the Vortex Triumph in their build & performance. The only significant difference is that Vortex has a lifetime warranty that basically covers anything up to a nuclear attack, and the case that comes with them is way better for carrying binocs in the field. Based on the prices of similar cases sold separately, if you need that buy the Vortex instead. Both this and the Vortex are heavy enough that a harness case is good to have. I modified the case that comes with the Hontryโs to function almost as well as the Vortex one, but the Vortex is better because itโs easier to get the glass in & out of and is big enough so that you can set the eye relief & leave it set. BTW, that eye relief thing is a game changer. Iโve never had binocs that I could use with my glasses and thatโs a way cool, super useful feature. One thing I found on the Hontry site when doing my prepurchase comparison is that they are also Nitrogen filled which for some reason isnโt in the description.

11 feet 6 inches focus distance
These binoculars represent the optimal choice within their price range. They are compatible with eyeglasses and, despite their lightweight design, provide an expansive field of view, surpassing other models I have evaluated. The accompanying carrying case is of high quality, and the binoculars themselves possess a balanced weight that minimizes hand tremor. Their optical clarity is commendable given the price point, making them an excellent entry-level option for budget-conscious consumers. My objective was to identify the best performing binoculars under $100, with a preference for even lower cost. I believe they would serve as an excellent gift, particularly due to their ability to resolve avian subjects at distances under 12 feet, a significant improvement over most budget alternatives that typically require distances exceeding 15 feet.

Great for bird watching
I have an older pair of binoculars that are more powerful and also a lot heavier. My wife and I recently got into bird watching and so I decided to get a new one. This is much lighter and very easy to use. It has lens caps that are hinged for the bottom lenses and one that attaches to the strap for the top lenses. That means they are always there and while they might get in the way, they are difficult to lose. The instructions are somewhat goofy, expecially the part about the diopter for adjustment if your eyes are not exactly the same or if you wear glasses. In my experience, the only one called a diopter is the one you can adjust on the right eyepiece. The instructions call both that and also the normal focusing ring the diopters which is confusing. The instructions are also a bit too 'cutesy" for me. I would skip the cutesy part and make the instructions clear, but maybe that's just me. In general the binocs are great and a great deal. They are high quality, waterproof, lightweight and easy to use. You could pay a lot more for the same level of quality and if you are looking for birds these are just the power and field of view that you need. I can highly recommend these.

Great choice for youngsters..A decent, usable pair
I was looking for a sensibly priced, usable binocular for my 8 yo Grandson. In tool terms, not a Festool, but not Harbor Freight either. And if this were a tool, it could be Bosch, maybe even Makita. Nice for $47. It does what its supposed to do without obvious defects. There are no 'double images' from poor collimation. No obvious chromatic aberration, even though not ED glass. Smooth focus wheel. All of these BTW were problems with the $64 Celestron Outland X I tried first - and am returning. Mine came with a manual, and there is a 1/4-20 socket for tripod adapter when you unscrew the front center cap. Why four stars? Abysmal poor shipping packaging - the factory box was slipped into an unpadded plastic Amazon bag. I expected the worst - but all was ok Hopefully, you will be as fortunate.

Heavy but great
WoW! Good binoculars kind of heavy but the view through them is clear. And for the price you can't beat it.

One of the best sub $100 set of binoculars
I own alot of binoculars ( over 50 sets) I bought these to review them for my YouTube channel, i expected cheap, low quality binoculars, I was wrong. If your on a tight budget or need binoculars for the truck - these are very good, most of my binoculars are several hundred dollars ,these don't compete with them , but they are as good as the Vortex Crossfire HD at 1/3 the price. Buy and enjoy. Ive had these for several months now and these are not a cheap quantity binocular, ive digiscoped them along with binoculars in the $100 to $200 ,it really makes me laugh. They are solidly built, there are not even ugly. Feel real good in the hand, comfortable eyecups. I'm currently building a YouTube channel that will review both inexpensive (cheap) binoculars with those that cost hundreds more. It will all be backed up with pictures from each. I hope it will give people an idea on what they will get from their hard earned cash. I hope to help those get a good pair ,even if they don't have a large budget. Also some binoculars from$200 down are not worth spending your money on.

Initial impression is good, but...
The binoculars seem to work well. I don't have any experience with high-end optics for comparison, but so far I have no trouble adjusting and focusing them. They're on the bulky and heavy side and don't wobble around, and the l-r images overlay well, unlike some of my other cheap binoculars. So why only 3 stars? It's the rest. The box claims a 5 year warranty but there's no way to register it. The QR code doesn't bring up a website. When you go to their website hontry.com you get a bunch of well written stories but little in the way of useful information. How do you put the included strap on? There's no mention of how to do it. How do you attach the eyepiece protector to the strap? Not a clue. How do you activate the warranty? No help there. Why do they claim you can safely submerge them yet they're rated ipx6, not ipx7. The binoculars case doesn't fit well but does provide some protection. I'll try these out and see how they work for me and solicit some opinions, and update my review if appropriate.

I highly recommend them.
They feel perfect to handle due to the high-quality manufacturing. They also perform very well with a clear high definition view. I highly recommend them. I would recommend getting a 'Hutton' Leather Reporter Bag to carry them in. It is a worthwhile investment.

Great value
Only had them a couple of days but I must say that these binoculars are shaping up to be the best bins i've ever had so far. Not had had them in the field yet (bird watching) and that will be the real test of how tough and water proof they are. However they have very good clarity, no discernable fringing or colour aberations to be seen. The body of the bins have a textured grip which I like. If you are looking for an entry level or even advanced set of bins then these may be the bins you are looking for. Great value for money
