Very loud don’t have to use full lung power just a decent force, hopefully works well for what is needed but just testing it I feel overall solid about the volume DBs, price for two not bad, nice lanyard that comes with clip in a little worried would gives out and maybe whistle fall off but just seems like a clip that isn’t super sturdy and perhaps will give out in time. Very lightweight, small and flat so can fit in pocket easy about two inches long have not tested around water

I have one on my keychain, one on my hiking bag, one on my lifejacket. A whistle is so much more attention-getting than a yell or scream, especially in crowded areas like the swimming area or a parking lot. I carry them for safety. They’ve been holding up nicely after a few months and still look brand new. They look very nice, sleek and well made, and the whistle volume is just what I need.

Loud when and if you need HELP ,or to get someone's attention ★ Could chase off an attacker perhaps ?

This seems like a pretty decent whistle. It's loud and would get attention, which is the point, and something that is small enough that can be attached to key chain, backpacks, worn around neck, etc. I bought them and wanted to buy more to use for a lot of purposes: hiking/camping, for my kids to wear when out in a crowded area, to attach to my kids backpack, for running, etc. However, the problem is that the two whistles that came in the pack were not of equal quality. One was excellent and I would like to give that to one child. It is very easy to blow and creates a clear crisp loud whistle. The other sort of stinks. It is sort of a double/echoey choo choo sound whistle that takes more of an effort to blow. I do not want to use it for a child or myself because it isn't as direct and noticeable. So now I'm torn whether I return them or not... and whether or not I should buy more... I'm sort of frustrated.

This whistle should only be used with earplugs. It’s keeping me safe on the Appalachian Trail and I love it.

Very easy to use and lightweight. I keep it on my keychain. It's main purpose is to call my dog in an emergency situation. We've trained her to come back to us when she hears the whistle and so far she obeys it well after a few training sessions. We haven't had to use it in an actual emergency yet, but we've tested it across and entire park and my dog hears it just fine. My wife lets our dog off the leash and i blow the whistle until she arrives to me. She usually bolts straight to me upon hearing it.

This is a great high-pitched whistle and small enough to conveniently carry in a pocket, on a key ring, etc. It is a polished metal that fits secure in your hands. I have no way to measure the pitch but it does hurt my ears a bit so I would say it is loud! Exactly what I wanted.

This whistle is not for me! It rings my ears when I try to use it. I wanted something I could use to recall my dog but unfortunately the sound of this whistle is too much. I tried covering one hole to give it a different sound and that helps but it’s too much of a hassle to cover the hole before blowing the whistle.

Whistle is loud, when it works. It's not all metal but has some internal parts that are plastic. Those parts can come loose, breaking the whistle. This happened to us after a few days. It also comes with a lanyard that snaps at the slightest tug. Do not rely on this product to work.
