It has Aciclovir as ingredient?

I don’t know but I can tell you if you feel a cold sore coming on and you apply this, it stops it in its tracks! Works great!!

Noticed it’s missing 5% aciclovir, does it work the same?

I doubt it. Aciclovir is the medicine that atack the virus. I got pills for that here in USA but I tought it was too much just for my lips. I keep buying in Mexico every time I can. I won’t buy it if doesn’t have Aciclovir. I am from Mexico and I have been using Cicloferon for 20 years. Works GREAt!! Nothin else works specially here in USA. Only prescribed pills Aciclovir. I live in USA and I have to bring it from Mexico

Is this ok for canker sores inside the mouth?

I've only used it for outside and don't think it would be good in the mouth as it would rinse right away
