Works as advertised. Really is a good rip stop nylon fabric.

Before using this fabric, I soaked it in warm, clear water to see if the color would run or stay. Color stayed beautifully. Fabric is easy to cut, pin, and sew (using sewing machine).

Semi-shiny, thin, non-stretchy material. Worked well for my purposes. 5 months in, no issues. Good value.

I sewed a cover for my patio umbrella to protect it from rain and fading. Rainstorm yesterday and it remained dry inside. Easy fabric to work with. Hopefully will increase the longevity of the umbrella. We’ll see how it passes the test of time.

I use this to paint signage for a craft fair we were having. It was sturdier than I expected and was able to be hung once we added tiny little holes to the corners. It lasted the day and even through rain. It's good product.

We wanted a beach sunshade (sh!bum!) but wanted a unique color and figured we could do it ourselves for tons less money. We were correct. We always get stopped and people complimenting our shade. It’s easy for me to find my beach setup when returning from the water. I found some article and videos online to copy. We also made a carrying bag that doubles as the sandbag for the anchor. This fabric is quality and durable for this purpose. So far it’s held up well - we’ve used about 5x at the beach and always receive compliments. Super easy to set up. Great value. I wouldn’t say it’s waterproof but definitely water resistant. Colors are bright and vibrant. Use sharp scissors as with any fabric project - material is easy to cut.

This is not rip stop. It’s patterned like rip stop, but does not work like rip stop. I used it to make dogs beds. One day of use and my dogs nail tore it right in the middle of the fabric. It snags way too easy, which is opposed to what ripstop does. I made two beds and it happened to both. I’d understand if it was at the edge maybe, but right in the middle? No. Once it had a little tear it just completely tore. This stuff is trash. Do not waste your money. It’s thin and very cheaply made. You get what you paid for. Not ripstop.

Fabric tore very easily under high winds. Great for indoor or light duty projects.

Bon produit. Identique à la description. Ne se déchire pas. La couleur est jolie. Résistant à l’eau. Tissu extrêmement mince alors je ne sais pas combien de temps ce tissu sera résistant mais je suis satisfaite de mon achat.

Exelent i used to gove life to my ols dinner chairs and kitchen curtain. Its working !

I'm a bag designer and this ripstop is perfect for linning ....just right , water proof and hard to rip....AND SUCH GREAT CHOICES OF COLOR....no complaints !

I bought robin's egg blue, yellow, and orange, mainly because I like making my own gear and wanted to have ripstop on hand for that purpose. **Warning: Boring waterproof test details to follow.** TL;DR: despite item description, this ripstop is *not* waterproof. I was midway through making a raincover for a little, teardrop-shaped city pack that I own, when I decided to test the fabric for waterproofness. I put a paper towel in a bowl, placed a swatch of fabric on top of it so that it overhang the bowl on all sides, then mixed food colouring with water and put a teaspoon of it on the ripstop and left it for a while. When I returned, the paper towel underneath showed that the red water had definitely permeated. Since I was using red water on blue fabric, I was able to determine that it hadn't been wicking, but had gone straight through the ripstop. Regardless of the misleading item description, I love the price and colour options of this fabric, and will definitely buy it again! I'm just going to waterproof it myself with paraffin and mineral oil when I need it to be waterproof.
