Professional-Grade Mixer – Powerful, Feature-Rich, and Built to Last
This is my second Kenwood stand mixer, and once again, it delivers. It’s incredibly powerful and heavy-duty, perfect for frequent bakers or large batches. The built-in features like the internal light, warming function for dough proofing, and integrated scale are genuinely useful and make the workflow much smoother. It also supports a wide range of attachments, which adds a lot of versatility. The only drawback is the high price — but considering the performance and durability, it’s a long-term investment we’re very satisfied with. Highly recommended for serious home bakers.

I love it.
My first ever mixer. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I wanted a big daddy. I was going to go with the classic Kitchen Aid mixer, and I had no idea I'd ever go for something different. However, after realizing the sheer, crazy amount of power and torque of the Kenwood (literally quadruple the Kitchen Aid), I knew I wanted one - especially with the tough, low carb, sticky doughs I make, and the abuse I'd be putting my mixer through. Okay, fine, I was seduced by a color touchscreen too. Can you blame me for feeling a little joyous and superior knowing that I can touch a fancy panel to mix my food? This thing is a beast, and it's gorgeous too. What more can I add? You wanna mix things? This will do it, and it will NOT get tired. And the fact that it can heat up and has a light AND can weigh foods, ugh, I love it. I've actually become annoying and obsessive to where I bring it up to people who don't even care about baking, because you know what? Yeah, the world DOES need to know that my kitchen has a big, expensive mixer with a touchscreen on it.

Terrible Mixer
This mixer was bought as a present by my wife. The first one was faulty and subsequently replaced by Amazon no problem. The machine is possibly the worst I have ever owned . Good points first : Looks amazing with quality bowls , timer is an excellent addition and warming feature is very helpful when making cakes or buttercream. Bad Points: Spiral dough hook puts too put pressure on the motor and when in use walks the machine around the worktop. Also magnetic cover for attachments drops off at the slightest touch and can easily end up in the mix if you are not careful. Especially if you move the machine when it is moving around on worktop. Maximum dough mix is 2.5 kg which is fine but the motor struggles with 2.2 kg. Would benefit from a standard dough hook. It is definitely not a patch on the kenwood machines I have owned previously. Very high price for a sadly lacking machine .

Well made mixer
I received this mixer yesterday so I’m new to using it but my first thoughts are it’s a very good machine which has clearly been built to last the tools that come with it are solid and big they make my old mixer tools look like a child’s toy it took me a little while to figure out how to start it I think the instructions could be better but with everything online now it isn’t difficult to find answers I’m of an age who grew up before technology so it’s a personal thing I made a cake to try it out by weighing the ingredients straight into it and was brilliant so going to save a lot of time when baking I am looking forward to using the warmer when I make bread to prove the dough it will be so much quicker in the winter months when it’s colder generally I noticed you can’t use the smaller bowl with the beater as the lid doesn’t close something I discovered when I forgot to remove it it’s because it’s not deep enough If you are looking for a mixer and want something to last and do everything then this is the mixer for you I know it has a huge price tag but I definitely believe you get what you pay for with this and definitely recommend it Edit I finally discovered that you use the small bowl on it’s own fitted into the base and the lid does close so it was a small error on my part I’ve now been using this mixer for a few months now and my opinion of it definitely hasn’t changed in fact I like it more than at first I used the warmer for proving dough it cut the time down so a definite positive and all my bakes are light and airy as I make birthday cakes for all my family it’s always getting used and having the scales built into it is a positive still it’s worth every penny I paid for it

Game changer for bread baking
I've waited many, many years before I took the plunge and invested into a Kenwood Chef, simply because I don't bake much cake... but we've been making sourdough bread for the past 6-9 months now and the machine has made things so much easier. It's the heated bowl that's a winner here. When baking sourdough bread, ambient temperature is hugely important. I guess that's true with most breads that need to rise/ prove. With this, I can just use the heated bowl setting and really cut down proving time on my loaf. Such a life saver in winter, when my kitchen struggles to reach 20C room temperature (yes I am cheap and limit my thermostat to 18C). Likes: - heated bowl, as above - weighing function - look and quality of the attachments, and the machine - solid feel to all that came with it except for the bowl cover Dislikes: - controls are sometimes a little confusing for the different setting elements. So I sometimes end up pressing the wrong button but that might just be a me problem - the inner bowl is great, but as they are nesting, the outer bowl is just slightly too large for the dough hook to properly knead my dough together without leaving some of the bottom/sides untouched. so it needs some starting assistance at the beginning to get it going properly. After that it's fine. - bowl cover / splash guard is a bit flimsy. Would have liked something more solid here.

I love her, her name is Hilary after my mother.
I got mine on this years prime day on a big prime deal and I couldn’t be more pleased/smug. It seems like from the reviews you either get very unlucky with a bricked or damaged model out of the box (all large electronic items which come from home delivery services tend to have a unfairly high level of failure which entirely depends on your delivery driver) or you get a perfect example and are very happy with it. I made bread as soon as I got my flour covered mitts on it and it was genuinely a joy. My 20 year old Kenwood chef was basically murderkilled by daily use for a family of 3 and I’d honestly say that if you do use your machine on a very regular basis then although this one does have a lot of optional nice to haves, the titanium XL part of it is a must. Yes the larger machines are more expensive but had I known this before then I’d have saved money long term by not pushing the regular chef beyond it’s limits of 350g of bread flour and wearing it out. The Patissarie XL had zero problems with what seemed to be a comically small amount of dough in such a large bowl, although be aware if you are upgrading from a chef to any of the titanium XL models that you need to feed the water in slowly catching the edges as the XL dough hook works differently to the regular Chef hook. I thought the weighing scales were ok, I’m a baker mostly so I’d be weighing and sieving off machine and adding anyway but it was a mild time saver to add the fats for the bread weighing on machine. You do have to stop the machine for the scales to work properly which means weighing and adding liquids as it mixes is a nope. I used a thin art paintbrush to clean trapped flour off the base, that’s a regular job for sure. I didn’t have an issue with turning the speed up and down, I think they fixed the software since some of the early reviews as it defaults to speed up and down and not time now. It was super cool to go ‘this needs an extra 2 mins’ and then set a count down, utter lazy luxury. For the attachments, they are bigger for sure, I had the original silicone beater come with the other machine, new it was hard to clean and over time and it’s degraded and gone weird, this new version seems miles and miles better. Save yourself and don’t get the glass blender attachment, its too heavy and the top port it too tall for it so the push and twist action is a wrist breaker. The standard Kenwood bowls are not interchangable but you get two with the machine so it’s fine, I hear the complaints about the magnetic covers for the high and low speed ports but again, I think that’s transit damage as mine are holding well. If I have one tiny tiny complaint about my own brain, it’s that the splash guard is too see through, so I kept not registering the flap as closed, I’m going to use washi tape when I use it as a reminder to brain. However it is much much better than the regular splash guard which would just fall off the groove all the time. One (free) nice to have is the app with the recipes, you can filter them out by the machine you have and in theory it will walk you through making recipes that are way out of your comfort zone, it does lean heavily towards German cake recipes which is kind of cool.

Faulty mixer
Although I loved the look of this mixer and it mixed much better than my previous one, it had a fault from the first time I used it. The mixer would stop and flash up an error code (e47) and suggested I switch it off, wait 30 seconds and switch it back on. It did this every time I used it. No info on the error, I contacted Kenwood and they didn’t know what it meant either!). I returned the mixer for a refund as they were out of stock. Incidentally, I then bought another one from Kenwood and that one developed the same fault. I’m currently waiting for a refund. There are too many fancy features to go wrong in my opinion, I just wanted it to mix but it couldn’t even do that.

She says it was her best Christmas gift ever!
Bought this for my partner for Christmas. OMG! We are now fully stocked with every kind of delicious food you can think of :-) What's very relevant to me, is that it makes baking keto (low carb) bread, pastries, quiches and a breeze - all the goodies I missed. Add on the extras like the mincer, blender, grinder, pasta maker - I think our food bill has halved! Totally recommended as an amazing purchase. And of course, Kenwood as always is superb quality.

The build quality is outstanding, and the attachments are incredibly versatile. It’s not just a kitchen tool—it’s a must-have for anyone who loves to cook or bake. I recommend this to beginners and seasoned chefs alike. Perfect for every kitchen indeed!

altissima qualita
