do these break easily

No. They are well made Rosaries and do not break! I use mine daily with no issues. These Rosaries are from The Holy Land.

I have a 14 by 5 neck will this fit

Not sure what you mean by "fit" but if you mean will it fit around your neck, the answer is no! Rosaries are not necklaces and should never be worn as one.

How long is the chain?

OA 20” if you wear it around your neck it is 14” then from the medal to the base of the cross it is 6”. Hope this helps. It is BEAUTIFUL.
